I had a dog named max when I was 11 he was my best friend and I rescued him from a kill shelter in Missouri. My little sister was 4 at the time and she somehow got out from the house. My boy max saw her leaving and climbed a 6 foot chain link fence and got out and literally followed her 2 miles down the street. My parents realized she was gone and got in the car looking for her. We found her 30 minutes later and max was with her the whole way. Sometimes you need to appreciate those who appreciate us because they show so much more compassion towards us more then people realize.

My mom takes her dog on the same route every day in the neighborhood. One day a few weeks ago, they stopped to look before the crossed the street and he sat down like he always does to wait like a good boy. When they got to the other side, he sat down again instead of going straight like normal. He tried to pull her around the corner a different way. She said “cmon blue, that’s not the way!” He planted his butt again and refused to walk. Finally, he started sniffing on the ground like he wanted to show her something. THERE WAS BL00D Trailed from droplets into a full puddle and trail allll over the sidewalk further along. She realized he smelled it and said “nope, we not going this way mom”. He took her on a different route for 3 days around the bl00d until it rained and was gone. She rescued him 2 yrs ago and he’s 8, so she’s not totally used to his knowledge & protective tendencies. I’m so grateful she has such a good boy by her side since she lives alone now.

For anyone wondering, this is the sequel to ‘a dogs purpose’ which follows the dog in this movie. When the dog dies, he comes back as another dog. The old man was the owner of the dogs first life, and the dog spends his life trying to get back to him every time. The little girl is his granddaughter, and now that the man is no longer a kid that needs his dogs protection, he tells the dog to protect the girl. Now he spends his life trying to get back to her. Also man realises that this is his childhood dog come back to him at the end of the first movie.

When I was a kid, I grew up deep in the Tennessee mountains. My dad brought home a pitbull puppy when I was like 4-5 and we were inseparable. That dog would have instantly gave his life for me and proved it when we were playing outside. I was picking blackberries and when i went towards one bush, Duke grabbed my shirt and started yanking me away from the bush. Then he lunged head first into the bush and started fighting a rattlesnake. The snake bit Duke's face a couple of times, but he would have done anything to keep me safe. He swelled up for about a week but ende up making it and was fine. My dad had to give him some meds he got from the vet and pretty much hand water him to keep him hydrated, but he made a full recovery. That dog would have absolutely went to war and died for me. Over 3 decades later and I still miss him so bad. Absolutely the best dog I've ever had. One of my jack ass neighbors poisoned him just because he had some feud with my dad. Well in fact, this movie is actually a SEQUEL about a dog who reincarnates into other dogs every time after death. That old man was his first owner when he was just a little boy. SPOILERS AHEAD!!! . . After his death as a Golden Retriever from old age, he went through a few more lives of protecting and caring for other owners before he could even reunite with his first. One was a cop whose spouse had passed away (K9 Shepherd dog, female lol). Heroicly died to save his life but tragicly, the man will miss her as she's the one who kept him in company. Another is a lonely woman who eventually found love and so did he with another dog (as a corgi). Having a habit of being fed with so many foods, and loved by the family. He ided out of depression and loneliness when his dog lover passed away first. Also starting to miss his first owner while he's about to be put down. Next thing you know, he's reincarnated to the dog you're watching on this video rn. But he was taken to a poor abusive household where the rebellious lady's boyfriend chained him up outside of their house. Yet the lady doesn't want to see him hurt, she lets her boyfriend take him out to the streets. That's where he focused on the mission of finding his first owner, who is an old man now. He eventually got adopted by him after he found his favorite flying disc toy. How did the old man found out that Bailey IS his old dog Bailey? Well, Bailey demanded his owner to do the 'trick' where he runs and jumps off his back after throwing the disc high enough for him to catch. The guy also got a complicated relationship with his old girlfriend, but they finally mended and got married. And it was a wholesome story. Worth the watch.

Rory got out of the yard and walked up the street about 3 miles, but all three of my dogs followed her the whole time. She got into this mans yard and he didnt see her, only my dogs. He got out a shot gun ans held it to my biggest pitbull, Bruces head. Bruce kept barking and charging at the man because he thought that the man was holding it towards Rory, luckly my step-dad got there and screamed not to shoot. My step-dad picked up Rory and got all three dogs back in the house. I got a pretty bad scolding but that was the first time I really saw how powerful and heroic my dogs were. Just a few months later, we got all of them into service dog training. They went with us everywhere and and helped so many people. I miss those heros so much.

The movie is a dogs journey. For thise that dont plan on watching but want to know what happens, here it is. Its been a while since ive seen the movie but ill try my best to recap. Spoilers obviously. The movie starts with the elderly gentleman that saved the baby, and his dog. Cece, is his granddaughter, and the woman on the phone is his daughter. The dog does this cool trick with the man where he throws a football, and the dog runs and jumos off his back to catch the football. The man and the dog were extremely close. The dog did this thing where it liked to chase its tail. The dog became old and was on its death bed. And the man told the dog that he wanted to protect cece, his granddaughter, in the afterlife. The dog dies, and it wakes up as a new dog. It remembers its purpose, to protect cece. So the dog spends its life trying to find cece, and it goes through many owners. The dog dies many times, to live a new life, and tries to start its adventure all over again. It gies thriugh loving, and abusive households, and in one life helps diagnose people with cancer. At the end of the movie, the dog starts running, and eventually ends up at his old home from his first life. Cece, i believe, is older now. Shes an adult i think? I cant remember. But anyways he makes it to the hiuse, and the man doesnt recognize the dog. He doesnt want it, but it just wont leave him alone. It tries doing things ti remind the man that its his old dog, like chasing its tail. Finally the dog does the football trick and the man realizes its his old dog. I cant remember how it ends but i think the dog dies and it shows its memories and that the dog fulfilled its purposs

My sisters are all younger than I am, so they weren't meant to be in the front yard ever, but kids being kids, they wanted to do exactly what they weren't supposed to. Saints aren't herding dogs, but they made sure to keep my sisters pinned up against the front of the house when they were on the front porch. They'd grab them by their hoodies and pull them back to the house when they started towards the road. Saw it more than once. Dogs are awesome.

The sad part is that only later do they realize that Gloria is going through depression. Her husband died leaving her "alone" and they tried to get her to see she isn't alone, that she can lean on them but she was so depressed she just saw them as her enemies. Later she makes legitimate strides to repair her relationships. Is a loving grandma and is even one of the people with him when it's time for the father in law to pass.
@UnfazedPhoenix5 ай бұрын
That doesn't mean she can neglect her child and let her get into life-threatening situations. There is absolutely nothing wrong with needing help, and I think the stigma around mental illness is terrible. However, with that being said, she has a responsibility to her child that comes first. If she can't fulfill it - then she needs to step back and let someone else do it while she gets assistance.
@Crux_JCr5 ай бұрын
@@UnfazedPhoenix yes but not everyone is self aware enough about how they act and react while dealing with depression. In the movie both Gloria and the in laws tell CJ, when she is older, that Gloria was really messed up by the passing of her husband and even harbored some resentment toward Cj and the in laws because she viewed herself as utterly alone and abandoned. I am not excusing her actions, I just want people to be more open about mental health discussions and be willing to understand that she is someone that needs help and after she starts getting it she makes great strides to be a better person and a better mother and grandmother. She is still depressed about losing the love of her life, she never even dates again, but she can carry that hurt a lot better and mends a lot of broken bridges and makes them stronger.

Dogs are the best protectors you can have. My grandparents had many chickens. And some foxes from woods nearby killed some of the chickens. So my granpa put one of the dogs, young pup named Pip, to guard them. He was young and reckless, so we failed the first time, since Pip was left on a chain (Pip harressed some of the chickens, because he thought he was playing with them) and fox killed another chicken. So my grandpa decided to take a risk and left him off the chain. Next morning we found that chickens never left the barn, on the field we found dead fox and barely alive Pip. He was abput 1,5 years old. He survived, but after he was patched up by a vet, he was so exhausted he slept for almost 4 days. I never left him for a moment. After that, he was always with the chickens, he got calmer in their presence. Some of them even laid eggs in his doghouse. Vet said that the fact that little dog managed to kill a fox and live to tell about it was nothing short of a miracle. His weight was less than 10kg. Next example of a great protection was my own Bernese Mountain Dog, Rocky. He was always the silent type, never barked much. Our neighbour even thought that he might he mute since they never heard him bark. Then there was a tough case of a burglar in our town. He was a mentally disabled man that was just robbing people for no reason. Because of his disability, authorities could do nothing about it. Everytime he was arrested they had to let him go. And since he was not a threat to anyone, they couldn't send him to mental health institution. One evening after my dad got back from work, we were talking about the rumor that this burglar got back. Second after that we saw our Rocky barking at, who we thought was at the time our neighbour Rafał as he was trying to open his car. We were surprised, since Rocky knew and liked Rafał and wouldn't bark at him. But I saw that the man was struggling to open the car. I said "Why would Rafał have a problem with opening his own car?". My mom called Rafał, who was at his house watching TV with his wife and kids. He ran to the car and me and my dad rushed to help him, but the burglar got away thorugh the fence right into nearby woods ,where we lost him. After that whenever Rocky was barking our whole neighbourhood was alarmed, because if Rocky was barkong then everyone knew shit got real.

@oliviaflores9937 It's a dogs journey, but it's the 2nd one, so maybe watch a dogs purpose first! 😊 I do warn you, though. It's a very sad movie😢❤

If I remember right, dude's dog died and, came back as the next dog he chose and, the dog let him know it was his dog from before.

You're right, but here's more information. It was his dog as a child for years until Bailey died of old age. Bailey reincarnates time after time until the dog we see kn the clip. After being abused and neglected, he wanders off and comes across the farm from his puppy hood. He sees an older Ethan and shows him over time the tricks and responses he would do when they were both younger. Ethan(dude) finds Bileys old collar and puts it back on him, and they play as they did years before.

@@blondeclbwhat’s the name of the movie? I think I may have seen it
@IOLEVIOI5 ай бұрын
@@smokedoutpositivesquad1738 There are two movies about the same dog, I think only the second one really has any reincarnation, but I don't remember. The movie names are "A Dog's Purpose" and "A Dog's Journey." They're really good

Playfully tugging at his tail was Bailey's way of saying "Aw shucks, just did what had to be done." Woof! 😊
