What a special treat! You can feel the vibrance, the electricity, and the enthusiasm in their music during this performance. A perfect example of the Doors breaking on through in the midst of their prime. Fantastic!

"The gap is getting wider day by day. The old are getting older & the young are getting....................somewhere." Only Lizard king could come up w/ this answer while he was aging in decades, not years.

"Who do you love" is just crazy (as the whole set, thanks!). Once Jim and Bo went on a bar-round together. Bet that was crazy too. Btw the interviewer is Lennart Wretlind, a radio-legend in Sweden.

Jim Morrison himself on harp. How silly are all the comments about whether the Doors can play the blues or whether the music is bluesy at all or whether Ray is in tune or the harp is amazing or boring... Guys this is The Doors in all its glory ! Jim Morrison (Jim Morrison!!! can you just imagine him?) on stage at the Avalon, alive and well singing and playing the harp. If there is a Heaven, I hope it looks like this and to find waiting for me such a BAD music and musicians and singer... To feel the energy and the vibrations and the fire flowing in and through me for Eternity.

San Francisco audiences! This was the crowd that the Swami was invited to at the Mantra Rock Dance at the Avalon Ballroom. A couple and their friends organized it with Allan Ginsberg, Moby Grape and Grateful Dead performing. Swami Bhaktivedanta came on stage and chanted the maha-mantra Hare Kṛṣṇa Hare Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa Hare Hare Hare Rāma Hare Rāma Rāma Rāma Hare Hare that night. The movement is meant to bring about a spiritual cleanse and new life revolutionary medicinein the hearts of all. This chanting in congregation cleanses the dirt from the mirror of the heart, extinguishes the burning fire of material existence. It is full of bliss. All glories to the victorious chanting of the holy name. Now in every country in every continent, Hare Kṛṣṇa is becoming a household word. George Harrison bought 300 copies of the Rādhā Kṛṣṇa album and befriended all the Kṛṣṇa devotees. It is unimaginable how many heard the mantra through his songs. The most popular one is "My Sweet Lord". He gave great financial support to the Hare Krishna people, to publish the sacred texts and establish a beautiful place in 77 acres in UK that still attracts visitors today. This is history in the greatest country. Prabhupada came penniless at 70 years old via a free passage across the Atlantic on a cargo ship from India. He never came to beg, as many Indian immigrants did and do still, he came to give and rescued those willing to take on a new spiritual science of enlightenment. Thanks! His free books: vedabase.io God bless.
