I played FF7 Rebirth on Graphics mode and loved it. 30 FPS is noticeable at the start of every session, but after you let your eyes get used to it, it's a very smooth 30 fps game and even as an action game, I felt like it was perfectly serviceable. Normally I'm a 60 FPS gamer, personally I prefer 144 because I have a 144hz monitor, but this time I got over it. The 60 FPS mode just looked a bit too fuzzy, and the 30 FPS mode is smooth as 30 FPS can be.

I don't really care if the initial keybindings aren't practical... as long as you can rebind them at will. HOWEVER... If you put hardcoded keybinds then you deserve every terrible thing that ever happened to you 😡 I'm an old-school guy, I play with arrow keys. Why would they not explain things in the FF7rebirth? This game is totally different than the OG game. There's been totally different things that weren't even in the OG things. Lots of things have changed. so they may mostly explains why things have happened and not leave any plot holes or q/e this time around. remember? we still have a whole 3rd game to play.

They moved movement to the left side so you could use the mouse (because righties. Southpaws still use arrow keys or num keys). Before, it was arrow keys to move and CTRL, ALT, SHIFT, and SPACE for other things. It was an idiotic move because they just put it on the far left. If it was smart, if it was really because we wanted more keys around our left hand, they would use ESDF (I call them the FRST keys because I use Colemak). With ESDF/FRST you HAVE more keys around your left hand and it's easier to find because of the F bump.

Also, I don't get complaining about what keys does what. I complain about not allowing to rebind everything (maybe except ESC for the pause menu). When I open a new game, I always go over all the options to set things as I like. Like JP did with Zomboid, like Cohh does for motion blur.

I put like 1-2 hours into the OG FF7, but HATED it. but after playing remake and so far I'm about 75 hours into rebirth/Just hit cosmo canyon, I've been loving it. this might be my favorite FF game now over FF8. but if they can remake FF8 like they did with 7 That will probably be my favorite again. lol, I wonder with people thinking it's blurry? I mean after playing it on performance mode, it doesn't look that much different than the remake on performance.

While I don't know anything about DBZ and have never seen an episode, his impact in other areas of entertainment definitely reached me. As a shareholder of $WBD, I'm actually fine with the decision. The company has been rudderless for awhile, now, and given the massive IPs they have in all forms of media, it's ridiculous that they're not making more with it. Obviously focusing on full length feature PC games won't go away entirely and certainly not forever, but a refocused effort needs to be underway to turn the ship around. We just recently hit the all time low at just over $8/sh last week. Continuing to make failures isn't the way to turn that ship around.

As a concept artist working in games I will say that being asked to "tone down" a design is very common and it's not just about monetization value. For example if you were asked to design a trash mob and everyone who looked at it thought it was a boss then it's a major design failure. There's really nothing weird about making a design "less cool", cool is only occasionally the objective of a design.

Regarding the "light" button on 'L' vs 'F' subject. All of us PlayStation gamers KNEW that Light Attack was Square, and Heavy Attack was Triangle.
