Fr so much gross shit happened there that most of us were too young to deal with and understand the gravity of some of the heavy shit that happened there, I hope you’re doing better now

​@nonerdsherexx i guess I was one of the lucky ones. Not that things weren't fucked up in some ways. My old community ended up closing and becoming private because we wanted to avoid all the problems in the app. Before we closed the community off. There was one guy who was a pedo and a 12yr old girl trying to catfish and scam people and one more 12yr old girl who got pregnant by a 16yr old. Honestly those were the biggest dramas.

I still use this app because me and one of my best friends basically communicate through it! I literally met her through amino! I went to her wedding this year!

i used to have 2k followers on YS amino and about 1-1.5k followers on diabolik lovers amino, biggest flex i told ppl at the time 😭

I spent 2017-2021 time into the app, met really cool people artists and content makers, met a lot of trash people as well. Ended up leaving due to lack of interest and I 99% of the people I knew left. My friend had art stolen and even got banned from one by a scammer before I stepped in to back her up. I try not to think about the money I spent on characters and species rights, good lord it’s awful to look back and keep stock. The one I frequented the most was UndertaleAU and MLP

Amino is like reddit, except primarily used by much younger users. And Subreddit moderators are...well a joke, and I feel like so were Amino moderators. its the unfortunate nature of user run communities.

As a kid I made a lot of good friends on there. Some I follow on socials today! Then I got groomed LMAOOOOO Then I rejoined recently to catch up with old friends and it's so fucking dead. Less groomers though so that's good.
