I have had an irregular heartbeat since I was a child. When I was 9 years old I had a fever so high that the nurses packed ice around me to bring my fever down. My heart flutters and when I get extremely tired my heart beats around 120 beats per minute. I am 65 years old now and I have been on metoprolol for about 35 years now to help regulate my heart beat. I was asked by an RN when I was studying nursing if I had ever had rheumatic fever, as far as I know I haven’t. I will be praying for Aiden that they will find out what is causing his irregular heartbeat.

My youngest daughter had horrible episodes of her heart racing. Like 180-200! She was about 8 yrs old the first time and you could see her little chest and neck pound. She had an electric unbalance thingy with the heart. She had an cardiac ablation done at the age of twelve and one done at the age of 18. Long story and too much to explain here but she has been going to a cardiologist since she has been 8. She has had two beautiful children and a healthy life since. Love and blessings. Thank you for the update. God bless you and your beautiful family. 🦋💗🙏🦋💗🙏

@ It was awful to see your little one go through that. It had something to do with the electrical circuit in her heart. It would get stuck at times and cause the heart rhythm to race like that. Prayers for a good cardiologist in helping you all find out what’s up with him and get him the correct diagnosis. You and Colby both live a clean, healthy lifestyle as do your beautiful children. Prayers for you all. 🥰💗🙏

You might consider taking him to a chiropractor. Every nerve in the body comes out of the spine. There are nerves between the shoulders, in the spine, that when they are out of alignment, it causes my heart to act up. I can get an adjustment, and I get over it. I think of it as the laying on of hands. In my opinion, the Palmer chiropractic school has the best doctors. That is just my opinion. You might consider it. I first experienced the work of a chiropractor after having a hysterectomy because of cancer of the cervix. After the surgery, I had very bad headaches. Long story short, I went in for an adjustment. My headaches continued. While looking at my x-rays, the doctor noticed that my jaw was dislocated in one of my x-rays. I was sent to a dental specialist. I had TMJ. If he hadn't noticed that, I would have continued to suffer from headaches. He also helped dissolve a calcium spur. A tendon slipped off my shoulder, a chiropractor put it back in place. Do some research on it. I hope this helps you and your Son. GOD bless

Great news for Aidan. Magnesium is an amazing thing. I had crazy migraines from the time I was 19 until 57. Magnesium has gotten me completely pain free. I still will get the visual aura but it subsides within 20 minutes and I go on with my day. I find the fact that you do so much with your medicinal garden. I’m starting to research doing that as well and love when you show and tell what and how you do things. Thank you so much for all the guidance and teaching what you do

I am thankful to hear so far, so good for Aiden. If this should continue maybe a pediatric cardiologist at the local University Medical Center would be a consult to consider. My husband has had SVT (supraventricular Tachycardia) since he was a young teenager. They thought the same thing for him when it first started happening. The hard part is that they have to be hooked up to a monitor to catch the episodes or for them to have a severe attack with it. My husbands heart rate has been over 300bpm several times in his life. It is scary when it happens. There is surgery to correct it if that ends up what he has. But it can come back even after surgery. Prayers for your boy and hopefully you have answers soon. Also.. It is an electrical issue and many things can contribute to the issue such as caffiene, being too tired, strenuous exertion, etc.

My daughter had a large PFO that did not close as a baby. In her 30's she had a stroke, but she had EMT's within 3 minutes and the hospital treated her with the stroke drug. They sent her to another hospital and they misdiagnosed her as a complex migraine. They did a test as protocol before releasing her and determined she did have a stroke and had a PFO. Keep after them, because they don't keep digging.

I had very similar symptoms that eventually sent me to ER. I was then referred to a cardiologist. All tests at ER and Cardiologist were negative. I was told I was likely having panic attacks. I said, 'but I'm not stressed'. Dr said, 'you don't have to be, they can happen to anyone at anytime, they can come out of nowhere for no reason at all. He said it's something they see daily with patients who come to ER thinking they are having heart issues Didn't really make sense to me, however they did stop. Our bodies are a mystery at times.
