I am blown away with the questions you've had to answer that border on personal. Where do people get off thinking they can delve into your personal lives, asking questions they do. It's a privilege that you choose to share parts of your lives with us. Also far too many people don't realise what is required to be done, once the camera gets switched off and you have to go into editing mode and you upload. That it all takes time.

Your children will thank you one day for not exploiting them. Most of these family vloggers are out of control with using their kiddos as click bait and content. Every bump or bruise there is a camera shoved in their faces. Every doctor or ER visit a camera is recording. Some people need to understand their child's diagnoses is not for the world to see. We have friends that have a farm and their goat, "fritz" always just roamed around. They had a huge dog house for him and he would just chill on top of it. He never ran off or got hurt with the country road by their house.

I really like how your channel has evolved. My husband and I are buying land and starting a homestead with a small farm as well. You have been a real inspiration to me to just go do it and try. I love the animal and development of the land content, that’s why I subscribed. I really respect your decision on what you share about your children. My husband and I adopted our son and he experienced a lot of trauma surrounding that. My experience with parenting him has made me really protective of what we share. It’s his story and I also want to respect his biological parents privacy. He told me he is embarrassed for people to know he is adopted. So my husband and I have respected that decision. If I have to disclose it for some reason I try not to have the conversation in his presence.

The Fairhaven farm children's book series so amazing especially before you start foster trauma therapy!! What a perfect way to introduce younger kids to the farm. I have a child adopted from care with ASD and RAD. I've always wanted to have something similar for her and for other children like her. Using her as an example, having the books to introduce her to the animals before she ever got there would be incredible and she would be way more comfortable way more faster. Especially since they all have their own special stories.

I always LOVE these videos! Keep up the q&a’s. I about died with the philosophical chicken question! 🤣😂😆 We set up a saltwater aquarium during Covid. One of its residents is a “cleaner shrimp” and it’s a common behavior for fish to come up to it, and for the shrimp to clean the fish especially in and around the mouth and gills. When the shrimp was new to the tank, he would back away when the fish got close. Husband is frustrated about the lack of cleaning, and says “Do you think he knows, ya know that he’s supposed to do that?” My sarcastic self had to answer “Maybe the fish store didn’t tell him?” The look I got in response was priceless!
