Tony I had a JD field finisher that would flip the walking tandems. Then it would not let that wing down. I finally made a bracket with stops on it that prevented the axle from flipping. I deliberately made the bracket mounting bolts "weak" so if the finisher really went over a huge washout it could still flip while shearing the bolts off. This way it did not break the walking tandem mount with too much load. The trouble looks like that because of the restrictions on length, that the length of the walking tandem is too short and that makes it more prone to flipping. Limited travel too.

Hi Amy. Been wondering how the 580's power upgrade went ... has the improvement been noticable. One of the reasons I watch the videos is that I love big machinery / tractors and really enjoy seeing them worked hard but not abused and the Fast's all fit that criteria. Enjoy seeing the hills being worked, turning at the headlands and corners being being taken ... straight and flat is OK too but ... great to see Mr Fast too and the remote on the sprayer was fascinating. Would love to have seen Colin on the hills he was describing. Nacho is interesting too ... hows he enjoyng the Fast's Montana ... be real interesting when the girls start helping out with the field work :):):)

That’s a video that’s needs to be force fed to the engineers at the factory. My dad was a mechanical engineer that always thought the design engineer should be forced to work on their designs. If that happened you wouldn’t be spending two hours force rotating a walking beam suspension.

It's strange why it stays up like this. I thought maybe something went wrong during assembly, that there are some stops, but the axle is installed upside down or smth like that and thats the cause for getting stuck. But in the parts catalog it looked like it should be able to spin 360, i don't know. Someone said it sounds dry and I thought so too. There should be a grease fitting in the back, but I couldn't see it. Maybe it's actually dry or low on grease and when it spins upright, the tension is to high for it to spin easily back down, since the whole weight pushes on one side of the axle. I guess not, but maybe there is some sort wheel alignment issue, so the weight isn't distributed evenly and during operation one caster isn't firm on the ground and starts to topple. Whatever it ist, Bourgault should be the ones trying to get rid of this problem ha ha I hope you will be able to figure it out and fix it or get fixed
