9 days ago, my grandmother died. 4 days ago, I was in a store when this song came on and I heard it for the first time. I stopped in my tracks and burst into tears. Today, Christmas Eve day, we held a virtual celebration of life for her. Just now, this video came up on my Instagram page. Strange coincidences. This was my first time hearing this song and I found this song to be very moving. I live in the US and I lost my grandmother the Tuesday before our Thanksgiving. I find that these types of songs are very rare because they aren’t happy and bouncy, but it’s a feeling that needs to be acknowledged. Bless them for acknowledging those of us who are grieving.

I had a similar experience when my grandfather died Christmas 1999. It was sad as he wanted to see the millennium and only became ill the week before Christmas. He was buried on New Years Eve and getting into the car to go the funeral John Lennons Imagine was on the radio. Then after the funeral get in the car again to go to the grave and it’s on… and a third time going home. That song now always reminds me of the day. I was only 9, and it wasn’t as if the song was only released…

As a person who completed piano exams, stopped playing piano for over ten years and recently did a diploma on piano, I am impressed with Duchess of Cambridge's piano performance as I read she did Grade 3 piano exam and completed Grade 5 exam. And I am sure she had some difficulties as I heard she is performing after so many years just like I did. She was brave to be performing with the professional musicians and I admire her courage and really appreciate her and she is really a humble person. I hope the Duchess will continue playing the piano as obviously, she is a very talented pianist.

@@strengthwithinme6795 I agree. It’s a very easy piece to play, left hand only needs to play a few keys, and if I wanna be picky, her rythme is not very consistent 😅. I finished level 10 in high school, started playing piano when I was 4, so this would be something I would play at 6-7 y/o 😆. But I do admire her courage to perform this knowing she’s not a great pianist and she did a good job overall!! Plus maybe she didn’t have much time to practice and perfect it too, who knows!

Like counts also did go down once. It was above 71000 at one point. My opinion is that it may be that Harry and Meghan have their hands on this? I mean when Meghan did her book readings for the Bench, her downvotes were 3.5x more than upvotes and soon after youtube removed the downvote counts display. Now Cambridge's youtube view keep decreasing each day. Their like counts has decreased too. Google has deals with the Sussexes and Google owns youtube. A bit suspect.

I think she wanted to give us a part of her heart. She played with no mistakes and a lot of sensitivity. Even if this was recorded it takes guts to play with professional musicians. Given also she stopped piano lessons a long time ago she must have put effort learning this piece of music. She seems to have a nice hand technique so I hope she continues her piano studies one day as she can definitely play at a higher level. That for the piano part. The best part of it all was that she wanted to put her heart in this concert and give of herself. Walker was amazing. What a beautiful moving song! Well done to all!!!!
