Im almost 49 now. I remember watching the pilot episode when I was 7 years old and never missing a show after that. Everyone involved in the show was so nice and a sense of down home purity. Wish I could've met the cast. Here it is 2021 and there still isn't any shows like it.

I totally agree with you. I'm 52 and as you , I saw the pilot episode when I was 8,and after that, I was hooked from being to the end. The 70s early to mid 80s were the best years of my life with the exception of May of 91 when I,got the honor to meet and have dinner with Valerie Bertinelli, Eddie Van Halen and there Son Wolfie .He was only 2 months old and that would not have happened if My Mother (God rest her soul) had not worked and been very close friends with Valarie's Aunt. They worked at the Division of Revenue in Wilmington, Delaware. And everyone one who knows about Valeries history,She from Claymont, Delaware only 20 minutes from were I use to live. I'd post a picture but this page has to do with the Dukes of Hazzard. I actually thought this was a new page on KZbin but as , I was reading some of the posts, I looked at the dates some of these questions and answers were anywhere from a year and a half ago to 8 months old. Wierd that is my phone, Sometimes I don't see any of this stuff until a couple of weeks later to several months down the road?

Watched it for probably a good 10 years or so. Fast forward to 2024 I have two boys 1 and 3 years old. I decided to introduce them to the Dukes and oh man it's like being a kid all over again. Did I mention they both love it? There is just nothing like The Dukes of Hazzard. Not to mention my job is going around filming classic cars, having people tell their stories and I'm also restoring a 1972 Nova. Thank you for the greatest gift from American television.

@71plymouth.8 жыл бұрын
yep.
@JackOSUrulz7 жыл бұрын
Schneider was born in New York but did spend some of his youth in the south. Denvers accent to me isn't southern of course, but he was from a rural part of Colorado I believe. He always handled the "country" type roles well, so he was very believable to be playing a Georgia patriarch. Sorrell Booke could speak 5 languages, was a counterintelligence officer during the Korean War, and just downright intelligent anyway so he played the part of southern villain to a T.
