These are the dumbest WWE conspiracy theories that fans actually believed. Fans have believed wild wrestling conspiracy theories involving Brock Lesnar going off the range, Hulk Hogan purposefully destroying wrestling companies, Kane being replaced, and many more, all of them very unlikely to have actually happened.

When I was a kid I 100% believed Warrior died and was replaced. We didn't talk about it as a conspiracy as kids, it was just a matter of fact - The original Warrior died in a car accident and they had to replace him.

Doesnt matter if its paul McCartney, avril lavigne or joe biden. The instant a conspiracy theory suggests that someone was “replaced” its already instantly the dumbest thing since flat earth. The people are all the same people. Nobody ever asks “why” someone gets replaced. They just act like only they know the truth. Conspiracy theory people are the lowest quality of human because they refuse to think critically

I know someone who to this day, still believes that Lesner went into business for himself. (Or at least he changed the match outcome because of Taker’s injury) I think they’re just upset about Lesner winning because we both believe that the streak should’ve never came to an end. If I was Vince, I would’ve never let the streak end & have Taker retire still undefeated at Maina.

As of today, I feel the screw job is a work. I thought it was a shoot until today. If it was a shoot, he wouldn’t stop talking about it. Think about it, he bitches nonstop about Goldberg, when Brett actually concussed himself with the figure four on the post, by hitting the back of his head on the ground. (Concussions are more apt to occur due to blows to the back of the head and not the chin). So if he won’t stop about Goldberg, if survivor series was a shoot, he would still be bitching about it. It’s totally a work. (Punched Vince off camera, having a “neutral party” filming as it happened, like Vince would let Brett get free press in his company on his way out to the competition) Total work.

SBW, you should make a video about modern wrestling conspiracies. It would be a good content and I have a few suggestions. 1. Triple H, Steph and Nick were the ones who staged Vince's allegations leaks - HHH was furious at Vince for taking NXT (2.0) at the same time he was at the hospital due to a heart failure and probably was already angry at him for putting NXT head to head against AEW and lose it. Also, Nick was mad at Vince because 2021 was AEW best year and was becoming a real threat to WWE's number one wrestling company. So they leak all Vince's scandals as a form of coup to take over WWE. 2. Bryan Danielson was swayed and pressured by WWE to retire in 2016 to take him out of way of pushing Roman Reigns as company's top guy. Fans were hijacking shows chating to Bryan and booing Roman. Also, that role smacktalk segment with The Miz, initially was to push Bryan to come out of retirement and feud with Miz, however, they changed the plans due to Miz's legendary promo 3. Vince made Taker lose his streak at WM30 because he doesn't like the fact Bryan would be over and needed something to upstage that. 4. That whole WWE Divas Search in 2000s was just an excuse to Vince find girls to hook up with. 5. This whole "WWE's wellness policy" is pure BS. Everyone is on steroids (look how was AJ Styles against Cody Rhodes at Blacklash this year), but "catches" some wrestlers just to save face, but uses it as a way to protect their biggests babyfaces. They would NEVER expose John Cena even though is very clear that he takes roids to protect his reputation.

Hes a bitter old man now that cries "oh poor me" all the time. He was unreasonable leading up to Montreal and Vinces original sentence was right "Bret screwed Bret". On another note Undertakers streak should have never been broken but if it was going to be broken it Lesnar didn't deserve to be the one to do it. I always hate that they made him the one to break it when so many bigger people who did way more for the business should have done it if done at all

I have no doubt that the Montreal Screw Job was a carefully prepared scene. Continuing the filming, when Vince McMahon came out of his office reeling from the punch it was clear to me even at the time that he was giving some kind of cheap acting, it was not convincing. What is clear to me is that what happened to Bret Hart is similar to what happened to Scott Hall. He received a huge offer that he could not refuse from WCW, and he went to Vince McMahon and said to him: Will you give me such an offer or will I leave? McMahon refused and did not mind his departure. Since he had his eye on Steve Austin and Rock, Bret was part of a phase that quickly appeared and quickly disappeared. But I have no doubt he would have taken advantage of Bret going with a huge scenario (taking the WWF belt to wCw). The actual reason for hiding the truth of this scenario from the public is because it has brought in money for years. The other thing is that the masses will not consider this a scenario, but rather a big hoax, and acknowledging its truth will result in great and widespread anger. Every shot of that event was a clear theatrical performance.

8:19 "but to be honest with you, i don't believe vince was ever aware of TNA" even though in WWE Raw, July 18, 2011: During a segment with Vince McMahon, John Cena made an iMPACT Wrestling reference. saying he's going to jump too the other company and join hogan. and even before that, TNA literally invaded WWE back in Turning Point 2004 (December 5, 2004) when wwe was at Orlando doing a show. not to mentioned in 2017 when kurt was a GM for RAW he said on WWE tv "i heard tna is hiring" this was during dixie era right before she sold the company. there's a compilation videos of wwe referencing TNA. there's even TNA chants on WWE tv during the earlier days of TNA. even WWE stars appeared in the crowd of TNA. there was famously a segment were a wwe talent was trying to not be spotted on TNA tv but they put the camera on him. vince was aware and they were of TNA even back then. y'all tried to used that same narrative of "vince not being aware" even with ECW back then and look at everything of came out since. he was definitely aware of TNA especially that segment when john cena said it to him right to his face on WWE tv. so, u would literally be saying Vince isn't aware of the things that was happening in his own company and stars within his company name dropping and referencing TNA directly to his face on live TV. and there's literal video footage of some idiot asking Vince McMahon during some press conference if he's going to buy tna. so yeah, he's fully aware of TNA existence. bubba ray even said in a interview that Vince was a fan of his TNA's bully ray character.

Kane's height did change. Shoes affect height, and you can find old photos where Kane appears to be wearing particularly elevated boots. Posture can further affect perceived height, as can hair and even clothing. Camera angles and positioning can also make a person look taller or shorter (which WWF did intentionally exploit). As does the people you are standing next to. Combine all those factors, and you can easily end up with a perceived height difference of several inches, without even getting into factors like actual height loss through aging.

Personally I still think the Screwjob was a well orchestrated work. Just think for a second all that came out of that night in Montreal. The Mr.McMahon character is born, Bret didn't wanna lose in Montreal so this got the belt off him and he gained a shit ton of sympathy and fan support going in to WCW. Shawn becomes the most hated man in the company which helps with getting Austin over even more with the Mania 14 win. The Mr.Mcmahon character being born in turn sets up the biggest and most profitable rivalries with Austin vs McMahon and Austin vs Rock. The only reason Bret didn't go back to WWF is because he signed a massive contract! WCW 150% fumbled getting one of if not the biggest WWF made star and the horrible Starcade 97 ending but that's on Eric Bischof not knowing how to truly run a wrestling company long term *cough Tony Khan cough cough* maybe it is all a series of coincidences and everything happening for a reason. To me though there is just too many positives that came from it

The Montreal Screwjob being a work is much more believable than it being a shoot, Anyone who thinks Bret isn't narcissistic enough to sell this for life is delusional, There are very few marks for themselves who compare to Bret.

I believe that the truth is somewhere in between. To me, it was half shoot and half work. I do agree that Bret sold this to get sympathy for himself. The documentary was very biased in Bret's favor. It conveniently left out his behavior during his heel run and changed the sequence of real-life events to make himself look like the martyred hero and victim of Vince McMahon and "bad" American fans. Till this day, Bret is still bitter that he never got over in America the way Hogan did, or the way Austin and The Rock would later on. His heel character was based on that bitterness.

My new conspiracy (that I don’t *really* believe but then again…) is that the whole Rock coming back to steal Cody’s WrestleMania match was a work. The day after Cody gave up his match and The Rock came back, #WeWantCody started trending, and the phrase “finish the story” exploded (not to mention that Cody was on the cover of 2K24 with that tag line, but all the sudden he’s not going to finish the story?). The fan outrage made national news and a lot of people started watching again after years or even decades of not watching. The next week The Rock slaps Cody, and the build up to the biggest WrestleMania ever begins. So did they really not listen to the fans at first, then pivot after the fan outrage? Probably. But just maybe they knew how to get the whole world talking….
@GFrisco
@GFrisco 24 күн бұрын
Well that's an interesting one, but tbh being on the game cover isn't an absolute proof, as in wwe 2k14 it was The Rock who was champion in early 2013 & didn't have a match afterwards untill 2024, & wwe 2k15 had Cena while the next push was for Reigns Beside that, there might be plans for Cody but were really changed for Rock vs Roman, and reverted to Cody at last
@mattrobinson828
@mattrobinson828 24 күн бұрын
@@GFrisco oh there’s no proof at all, ijs that the tag line “finish the story” was all over the place, and if the story didn’t get finished fans were going to lose interest. but yeah I think what most likely happened is Rock used his influence to change the plans, then looked dumb for not anticipating a backlash (HHH expected the backlash is what he said on Logan Paul podcast). so prob no conspiracy, but if there was it was brilliant

Wrong, he asked Bret to mutually terminate it if he could get a good deal out of WCW, which he did. Now what would have happened if WCW had said "actually we're not interested now, no thank you" is a completely different thing but as far ending the WWF deal goes, nothing was breached, it was agreed between the both of them to end the deal early So your entire logic is completely and totally flawed

Beware anytime howard stern is saying that someone is going too far with an accusation. He is as cabal as it gets. That reeks of cover up. And NOW we KNOW that vince is bisexual. I used to believe vince & shawn had something but i also see it different. Macho man wanted shawn in a feud vince not letting it happen saw mach leave. With hall & nash there in wcw while shawn can't get to hogan he could out do him and make any match hogan had to wrestle impossible to follow shawns matches. You had bischoff saying he'd just be another guy on the roster but go listen to kevin sullivan. He debunked that along with terry taylor basically saying they would have let shawn do wat he wanted & with nash being head booker he'd protect his buddy meaning. Shawn gets the match against macho man Shawn vs scott hall ladder match part 3. Hall won the 1st shawn won the 2nd right? Shawn vs nash good friends better enemies part 2. Then. Shawn vs flair Shawn vs eddie guerrero the dream match Shawn vs jericho at that time Shawn vs sting Shawn vs booker t All of those mstches instant best matches on the cards. NASH will make that happen as head booker. Now....for bret Hall left because bret did not want tonask vince for more momey, nash left because bret did not want to tske the powerbomb where then taker screws nash we get the incide MOTHER F'ER not everything is about you! By taker to bret. So nash leaves Hall & nash didn't even care for bret they pimped him so they could get more money from their favoted nations contracts with turnerbsports & NASH blatantly admitted it because when bret got there NONE including hogan wanted to work with him. Huge huge difference with bret vs shawn. Vince knew this. Wcw used bret as their puppet cc bidchoff clearly was going to say they signed the wwe champion had the screw job not happened. Im willing to het thats why bischoff gave bret that huge offer anyways to blatantly do.that & bury vince. Vince had to make the right decision he chose shawn. He knew where bret would stand in wcw

Imo the only wrestling conspiracy that holds any weight whatsoever is Benoit. Now I believe Benoit unfortunately did what he did, but come on, something just doesn’t feel right and fishy about the Benoit tragedy, that I wouldn’t be surprised if Benoit was framed. Now when it comes to Conspiracy Theories in general, one must understand where the phrase originated from, the term Conspiracy Theorist was first used for people that didn’t believe what the media told them about the JFK assassination. But it’s always important to think for yourself, don’t be ignorant, always do your own research and make your own assumptions, don’t believe everything you hear or read, don’t rule anything out, and have an open mind. Because the mainstream media is nothing but propaganda and not real journalism

Just because the mainstream media lies doesn't mean everyone else is telling the truth. That's also thinking for yourself. It did feel right to me because Benoit's descent was eerily similar to Dynamite Kid's mental decline, and they both had one glaring thing in common; that diving headbutt. A move like that is BEGGING for severe brain damage over time. But who do you think framed him? Please don't say Kevin Sullivan....
@NuMetalfan1996
@NuMetalfan1996 3 ай бұрын
@@MarquisLeary34 Yes that’s true that just because the mainstream media tells lies doesn’t mean that everyone else is telling the truth. That’s right. Which is why I said you should come to your own conclusions and think for yourself. Well I believe that Benoit unfortunately did what he did, I think Benoit was suffering with deep depression and when you’re suffering with depression, dark thoughts can easily get normalised in your thinking. Whether Benoit’s depression was linked to CTE or Head Trauma I don’t know, the tests that the university had done (I forget which university it was) was ruled inconclusive by the Police and WWE themselves, meaning that the tests of Benoit’s brain didn’t have enough evidence to conclude CTE played a factor or not. The University, Chris Nowinski and some people in WWE did think that CTE played a role in Benoit's mental health but the tests were ruled inconclusive by the Police and WWE. I to think it was inconclusive. But if Benoit didn’t do it and was framed it wouldn’t surprise me considering the mystery surrounding it all, we have no motive, we have no explanation to what happened. The Benoit tragedy happened near a Summer Solstice, we seem to get a lot of news about Deaths in or around the Summer or Winter Solstice. I remember 2009 for example being a big year for that (though the Benoit tragedy was in 2007) But in 2009, Micheal Jackson died near a Summer Solstice, and Britney Murphy died near a Winter Solstice that year. And there are Cults out there that practice in Witchcraft and Sacrifices, this isn’t just some make belief fairytale shit that Hollywood wants you to think. There are legit people out there that use and practice Witchcraft and the occult. All you have to do is look it up for yourself.
