Reminds one of our favourite performances. It's ferocious guitar playing full of pain and devotion. Vini is criminally underrated as a guitarist.

Grateful to The Guardian article and Facebook feed for seeing this now. Hard to find masters in the chaff and so humble in that press clipping knowing what he knows all those masters who never made a record - sort of like Victor Jara voice and instrument who was famous in his own way but many like him I think in the Spanish speaking Old and New World never made a record. Yes Mr Reilly you have done 'something' in this life. Thanks again.

I saw Vinni at Vilar de Mouros, 1981. It was a magic night!

There is no one like Vini nor his equal. Lord I've tried This sessions is like channeling Coltrane.

Excellent observation and comment. Like Coltrane, Vini is a Genius and takes his instrument into uncharted stratospheres. Love, Vini and Bruce's work.

I love this one by the Durutti Column. It is monster good. The guitar's haunting sound trailing you into unchartered territory, or is it a thousand stars shining glistening in the sky.

Thank you for posting this song. This one and "Never Know" are my favorite songs. I also like the drummer and the other man who is playing the guitar as well. Many blessing to you and to the other two musician. I always think of the word "musician" coming from the word "magical". This is truly a great treasure. kind regards.

Spot on ....play this all the time it's a pleasure to watch a master at work. Hope Vini is getting by and some of his skill at least returns for his own sake.
