First and foremost I will say childhood experiences shapes the way a lot of people show up in friendships. When you are an attractive woman you can honestly catch HELL from other women. You maybe as humble as pie, but women can still be vile and catty. You may see them as your friend and the whole while they’re seeing you as competition. Even fellow attractive women. It’s really difficult being friends with women, people do not talk about it enough. Women on jobs will go out of their way as well to sabotage you.

I knew this one girl and in the beginning of the friendship she would always tell me “well I would hate to be pretty cuz that means u will get hella evil eye” I was like what? everytime I told her little inconveniences and problems I had she would always be so excited and point out that someone jinxed me .bitches are truly wierd! If anything she would be giving me that evil eye😂

I’ve seen plenty of women give their girl friends chance after chance and turn a blind eye to bs, including me, so the narrative that women only give their girl friends one chance and their men many chances does not ring true in my book. Friendships bn girls have certain dynamics that are toxic and hard to break from and honestly rather than fixate on building sisterhood, I’d rather have 1-2 solid friends I know I can trust. Haven’t been the girl to have bad experiences with girls and say “I’m just gonna have male friends” bc no thanks. Being comfortable with yourself is a great blessing tbh. That’s how you ultimately meet your people.

I agree with everything but one thing. I’m genuinely a bubbly and happy person so when I meet someone new that I feel we have a lot in common I am naturally positive and will hype them up. That’s just my personality but it is genuine. Everyone seems to just have a nonchalant attitude these days and it has killed my energy to the point where I can’t even be my real self because it’s seen as a red flag…… It’s draining.

I would say for the spending more time with your bf part in the friendship part of it. I feel like you should balance that time & making time with your significant other & your friends/family.. there’s WAYYY too many women who put their romantic relationships OVER their friendships & connection with other people. That’s super unhealthy! You should have your own life & friends aside from your relationship. Just learning how to spend time with your friends & your partner is very imperative

It’s always the jokes. It’s really sad. I can’t even say wat some use to say it was so gross and rude 😔 It comes down to desirability when ur more attractive. A trauma bond is not the way you describe…it’s the emotional bond between an abuser/perpetrator and a victim

I have a friend who I feel like has secret animosity because she thinks I'm mens 'preference' compared to her. Ive never really been attractive until the most recent years so I don't make looks my main identity. But she says things like 'oh you're a biracial baddie', and how I'm not black and telling me I could never have 4c hair. idk it sounded weird to me. She's not a bad person but do you think it's worth me trying to have a friendship with her if she learns to be more secure with herself? Also lovedddd your video, definitely needed to hear this

The only thing I have to say about women who give partners more chances than their girlfriends is because they are trying to build a life with the partner. It’s a very different set of expectations. And let’s be real, friendships can and will be seasonal. Also before anyone jumps down my throat, I don’t believe in cutting people off so quickly, I think learning to compartmentalize friendships is a smarter approach. Okay sis isn’t someone to talk “X” about, that’s fine but your other friend you can. Your friend doesn’t have to fulfill all of what you’re looking for, just like your partner.

I had a friend that lasted from freshman year til adulthood. Once i couldn’t give her what she wanted one time she started airing out her true emotions she felt towards me secretly. She use to take horrible pictures of me that she kept and would randomly send to me. Majority of the friendship was based off of her lack of self esteem and her needing to humiliate me to make herself feel superior. I use to think we had a sisterhood but now i know i was never her friend.

I've since fixed my teeth and people get veneers to have my teeth 😂

This video was a complete waste of my time and I lost some brain cells. I’ll stick to my factual videos instead of bloggers and self proclaimed influencers trying to make their life seem relatable 😂. I’m conventionally attractive also, but I prefer privacy and would never post something like this online just to boast about myself having wisdom when I’m actually young and still growing in life; just like you. I’m happy for you that you claim to have good friends, but you’re not actually giving your audience advice on HOW to find healthy, mature women as friends. Perhaps try suggesting ways your audience can introduce themselves to good women friends. Tell your audience How to be a reliable friend, how to respect their gfs, and how to have patience with them. Red flags to look for in female friendships; like moochers who expect their gfs to pay the lunch bill. Perhaps try sharing some scholarly articles that share productive ways to maintain lengthy women friendships. Also suggesting ways on how to approach conflict in friendship; like feature one of your friends in a video & reenact a scenario where conflict is addressed in respectful, mature manner.
