I had the pleasure of meeting your Great grandpa briefly when he opened his Randall Plaza in Scottsbluff. Dad's side of the family homesteaded 15 miles west of there. I was impressed by what a nice, modest down-to-Earth guy he was. Certainly didn't deserve how he was treated by The Eagles. Hometown hero, and my favorite. Hope you got to spend lots of time with him...I treasure all the times I spent with all my grandparents, and 3 great grandmothers.

I know that you probably don't want to hear this, but I'm gonna tell you. It is not important to understand what a song means when you first hear it ! That is something that comes with time.
