You're not crying, I'm crying. You are aggressively valid here on the mini painting side of KZbin. I have some spare damaged marines in my bits box which I'd like to try these techniques on. I'm inspired. Because you build and customise and create as much as you paint, I'd be interested in product reviews and guides from you. All the stuff on the market that can be used for these builds and effects outside of just the paints. The DirtyDown products, for example. Show us what you think of them and how to best put them to use. It could be a way into some sponsorship too, maybe.

Thank you Steven appreciate it my man! Definitely give it a go it’s a really easy technique, no major skills necessary, and that’s something I would like to do in the future. I was briefly inspired to buy a set of Blood Bowl Snotlings and a Big Mek with a Shokk Attack Gun for a *very* messy diorama before I remembered I have kids that need feeding lol

Well Dee if you do buy them you’ll have a lot of sprue left when you clip all the parts off, so they could eat that couldn’t they? 😁 I love the blood bowl snotlings though I’m gonna pick up another box for myself soon for the Swamperial builds!

Always love these kinda effects. Its a shame you never really get to apply them to larger scale army projects, since it suits Diorama or Basing much better.

Yeah feel you on that dude, could be awesome on a battered up necron army but it is a big task to do it on a large scale like that, thanks for watching though!!

If I did stuff with plastic miniatures I would definitely do this to some of my guys especially my gray nights because I have them based with what looks like necron tomb world glyphs on obsidian black bases with the green glow effect coming from underneath so maybe having a few guys looking like they're battle damaged from necron weaponry or necron blood sprayed on them would work out pretty well but because I do the resin models from my brother's 3D printer I don't want to really risk breathing in those burning fumes or the particles from cutting in or carving in but I might use it if I can get some plastic guys and put them on the bases of my tyranid army and cut them up and make them look like they're sitting underneath rubble with blood coming out or acid eating at them does my brother did buy the Leviathan box but he's not using everything from the space Marine side and he's selling me the tyranid side so maybe I can get some of the Marines he's not going to use

Yeah I get you, resin minis can be a bit of a pain sometimes to be fair, I much prefer plastic ones overall! Necron army with this effect on it sounds sick though, definitely give it a go!
