What an honor this was Dave. Thank you so much for the kind words. I'm glad people enjoy my work but I am even more excited to see what the future holds for all of our up and coming artists. So much talent out there.

4:05 A Space Marine exploding into a pool of blood kinda makes sense. With all these extra organs stuffed into them I would expect them to have a lot more blood than the average human.

@Honza673828 ай бұрын
The exploding marine is nothing but a Wolfenstein 2: New Colossus German Soldier when you ram into them with one of the 3 special modifications for Blazko's new body. Just a blood bag. Armor? Evaporated. Guts? Turned to paste. Consistancy? *Liquid.* Edit: no disrespect to the author, I think this stuff was so cool. Like I saw vids like this before but the way these authors play with it as they finalize it, it's just so damn awesome and over all incredible. Beautiful Job, y'all!

Ahh I did not realise the rescue painter guy was the same guy that did those ridiculously awesome 'Doom-esque' conversions - superb - an amazing talent, and an imagination to use it well.
@paulgonzalez54634 ай бұрын
This guy should make a whole diorama showing a battlefield after a large battle. Image all the dead all over the place. Some badly wounded but still clinging to life, some crawling off the field with missing limbs, destroyed tanks and massive craters.

These look so awesome! I love that so many people are putting a piece of themselves into their models. Whether it is glorious conversions, awesome backstories or even just a simple "hey, I made that one", it's just so cool to see someone's passion and vision. One small comment on the video though... imagine if you had put the cut-in of your face at 10:40 not next to the marine, but inside it hahahaha

The melted ones almost feel like they would work in a diorama. On a slopped hill. The skeleton one closest to where the shot was fired. Headless a ways up the slope directly behind skeleton. Sideless even further up and to the left of the actual target of the shot... Mr. Middleless.

The Melted Marines have one big mistake though. But you need to have seen hot steel to understand. Look online for a steel color temperature chart for reference. Dark red is very warm. Bright red is warmer. Orange is getting hot. Then comes orange-yellow, hotter still, bright yellow, now you're hot enough to forge, and close to melting you get light yellow close to white. Given that any edge cools down faster than the bulk, edges should have a "colder" (more red) color than the bulk of the cut. After those Marines got thermally lanced, their exposed core would show white yellow, while the edges should be dark orange, cherry red and dark brown red for the parts that had the chance to cool the most. The thermal color gradient is the wrong way around. Sorry, that's physics for ya...

He may have only been painting minis for 4 months but i highly doubt those were is first models. He had to cross over from some other hobby. Like nighshade doesn’t do 40k models but his first one will probably be better than 98% of ours

@Prikelywombat8 ай бұрын
Use black primer and then dry brush using a cheap makeup brush from a darker bone and dry brush one of say your terminators and by the tume you get to the end one the first will be dry then you can dry brush a brighter colour. Or you can use some sponge to do basically the same
