I like the Kiwi Grip on the sides of the chain locker. That way if you are standing on nonskid to open the chain locker hatch instead of slick paint. I'm redoing my nonskid this year and foot position when working on the foredeck is an important consideration for me.

As long as you don’t make the tread too aggressive it’s great. We’ve found that it a tays fairly cool in the heat too
