The whole essence of Zen consists in walking along the razor's edge of Now - to be so utterly, so completely present that no problem, no suffering, nothing that is not who you are in your essence, can survive in you. In the Now, in the absence of time, all your problems dissolve. Suffering needs time; it cannot survive in the Now. 🕊 Eckhart Tolle Eckhart Tolle

For me, ZEN is the highest achievement of human wisdom. Zen is one with existence, it recognizes only existence without human inventions such as gods, devils, demons, religions, churches, priests, rituals ... it recognizes only experience but not philosophizing, everyone needs to go through and experience their own path, and recognizing the present moment is nothing but the non-recognition of time, because if time exists, there will be no existence, it will end in time, existence can only exist in eternity.

The Easiest Path to Enlightenment ~~~ Hahaha! Easiest for those naturally thoughtless, perhaps. "Zen is anything done thoughtlessly!" - Bodhidharma I agree that entering a thoughtless state is a relatively 'easy' way to 'taste' Enlightenment. The problem is the as thought returns, Zen leaves. The thoughtless state cannot be held all the time. Enough to give us a taste, perhaps. It seems that there is a more permanent path to Salvation/Enlightenment/Mystic; Anyone can be 'Saved/Enlightened'!; "Born again" into the state of Unconditional Love = Salvation = Enlightenment = Heaven = Immortality This is how YOU Know you are Saved/Enlightened/Mystic! Unconditional Love is ALWAYS Known by It's Unconditional Virtues; Compassion, Empathy, Sympathy, Gratitude, Humility, Charity (Charity is never taking more than your share of anything, ever!), Honesty, Happiness, Faith... ALWAYS! The display of these Virtues is how others know that you are Saved/Enlightened! "What a man loves, he is. If he loves a stone he is that stone, if he loves a person he is that person, if he loves God - nay, I durst not say more; were I to say, he is God, he might stone me. I do but teach you the scriptures." - Meister Eckhart “Your task is not to seek for Love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.” - Rumi

Well, "now" is the only thing that is true, right? Am I safe now? As it happens, yes. Am I happy now? Very much. What if I wasn't safe now?? I could say the Archangel Prayer, or I could focus on my breathing, and that precarious moment would eventually flee from me. My current situation isn't my final destination.

You have to meditate in a darkroom, listening to music helps to distract you from thinking (using mind) Bible, god, "I make darkness my secret place, I will give you treasures of darkness, the day of the lord is dark, indeed very dark with no brightness in it, make sure you hold your tongue at the roof the mouth. That's the missing part of raising the kundalini (enlightenment, satori)

It's not done with waking up to what's going on around you. It also doesn't help to know lots of tricks to be able to survive, or elevate within our society, since you are not able to use them if you want to proceed on your path to enlightenment. You need to remain soft, but still be well spoken so people stop attacking you for your kindness you give to them. They think your kindness is a trap, since they are not use to people with pure intentions. (Or they mistake you for a fool.) And yourself?: if you grew up in a humble environment, i can imagine it's easier to proceed on the path. As someone having lived a flashy lifestyle, it takes time. Also the attachments to the materialistic world need to be undone. Not sure yet, if you need to get rid of everything entirely. (i hope not) One thing is clear, there is no way of return, you start losing, Friends,Family, the need to "achieve" , you really need to embrace the art of letting go. Don't worry when you starting off, it gets better with time. You start enjoying moments of solitude and you will cherish beautiful connections more dearly. So much, that it will become the Highlights of your Day, Week or Year. Also you gotta stay compassionate, first with yourself and also with others. Once you outgrew them they won't understand you anymore, it's like you have become an Alien, hence some attacks. You gotta remain composed and don't give by into aversion, pride, jealousy, and envy. You are beautiful and you gotta recognise that! You got this

Nowadays, the Zen sect founded by Dogen has degenerated visibly. It concentrates on details of "correct" meditation posture, breathing, etc. Doguen was enlightened, but he became an authoritarian perfectionist, and his teachings in the Shobogenzo reflect his character's tendency. The obsession with details that are his legacy is ridiculous. The Soto Zen school is called the Zen for the farmers. If you practice Zen as taught, you'll be lucky if enlightenment finds you.

To be in the 'Now' you must die of self. You learn to let go and let go and let go until you no longer exists and you become everything else. I think there for I am. The thought process is what separates us from the Present, the Here and Now Reality. Behold the Kingdom of God is Within You and The Kingdom of God is at Hand simply means Salvation or Eternal Life or Enlightenment is without Space or Time. Was Jesus the Christ God made Man or Man made God?
