When I first saw your video posted, I though, I've never put anything on the roof of our Jeep, then watching you demenstrate it, it occured to me that it would be great for washing the midddle of the roof, which I think, I've never done. Hope you, Kari and Jack are doing well...

That will come in handy for anyone not in the NBA! Rick I'm only 5 11 so I have used this little folding ladder of 2 or 3 steps to get to the roof that I got at Lowes a few years ago. But I have seen these before and it is compact and weighs very little. Clever tool!

Love the idea for the front doors on the crosstrek but I usually just stand on the tire for the rear cargo access! Great video regardless!

Hi Rick. 10 months on how have you found this accessory? Have you changed to something better? Has the model failed with the screwed thread fastening (my biggest concern) Long term use any damage to he door cavity or any other comments 10 months on? I'd appreciate your time and feedback. This is what I'm looking at from options on the market.

No issues with the device so far, but to be honest I have only used it a handful of times so I really can not give you an honest opinion on regular continuous use.

Hi Rick, How are you doin'? This looks like a great idea for accessing the top of a vehicle, especially those like me who are somewhat 'vertically challenged' at 165 cm (4' 5"). It would be helpful for climbing on just to make washing the roof of my XV as bit easier... and I'm sure it would come in handy for use on tall vehicles, off road and rally use, too, among other things!
