Man! I thought we had nice trout here in the mountains of South Carolina! Those are gorgeous! I'm sure what you cooked was amazing cause...as long as you don't overcook it... trout is hard to mess up! But my favorite is just salt and pepper and lightly breaded then fried or just lemon & pepper and broiled. Probably the only freshwater fish I really enjoy if I'm being honest. Simple? Take a willow or any stick, cook the trout like a hotdog over a fire. Stick through the mouth into the tail meat. Tastes great.

Nice video and kudos to your wife for catching the biggest fish. My dad was a WWII vet as well. Army Air Corps, Eighth Air Force, stationed in Kimbolton, England. He was a navigator on a B17 that had a mid-air collision with a German Messerschmidt in June, 1943. He and the co-pilot were the only two who survived. He spent the rest of the war in a German POW camp. We'll just say the German POW camps weren't known for their cuisine, and when I was a kid he would go nuts if we wasted food. Nor was he fond of picky eaters. His favorite dish, oddly enough, was creamed chip beef on toast.

Dang Poor Ju still trying to get deep into the real estate market, and during one of the most difficult times, especially with the crazy sellers in the Las Vegas area that are way over pricing their houses when they list them. But Las Vegas is still kind of holding steady, his time will come when seller's stop over pricing the houses waiting for that one sucker that might pay the inflated asking price. I am very happy to see the gang and Momma bear joining forces to make some very nice catches indeed. Also, another good-looking dinner spread,very similar to how we always prepared and ate our Trout along with some getting put on a smoker. Keep it up, team Sin City ! Junior knce again I would highly recommend that you explore getting into an apprenticeship with NV Energy as a Lineman. After a couof years, you could have the best of both worlds making a Very Good living and doing the KZbin thing.

Very nice!!! Never caught a rainbow trout before. Live in Florida Big Bass and snook, Redfish and same species we call them pickerel not pike we have a baseball bat for those and feed them to the alligators! We use 30lb power pro and 4 feet of fluorocarbon can’t use light tackle!!

You should come to Greer's Ferry Arkansas. Down at JFK Park they have breeder trout that big in the hatchery. Also the world record brown trout was caught there.

love you guys but you couldve cooked that meal better. get some color on everything but you essentially just steamed it. if its skin on filets if you do it right, the skin turns crispy. when you cook lemon like that the acidity cooks out, you're better off squeezing fresh lemon on the filets.

Trout lived in Montana for many decades then the water began to warm and the bass moved in. Now a small mouth bass has replaced the trout in many waters around here. Some think it's bad, I welcome the 'smallie' to the waters. They behave like trout in these waters.
