The EASIEST way to catch CATFISH! (Catch and Cook)

Hey guys! Thank you so much for tuning in to our video. On this day, we launched our canoe from our dock to go bait up some limb lines we tied up. Our favorite bait to use on the lines are fresh shad and luckily for us there were a few swimming around the dock that we were able to catch in the throw net. We usually like to run the limb lines after dark, but Jay was craving some fresh catfish for dinner so we ran them in the afternoon and had great success for such a short running period. The video opportunities are also much greater in the day, so that's another plus!! After we gathered our catch we showed y'all how we like to clean and prepare them. Remember there are several ways to clean a catfish and that this is just our preferred method of filleting them! Jay, you are a country girl to me. You remind me so much of my wife when we were younger and we still love fishing together at 68 years old. Been married for 48 years and happy as we were on day one. Same way we do bass, trout, redfish - super useful to know how to whip those fish out especially when the sun is hiding! Love it!
