I also have Sweet William in my garden but I think I like the dianthus they sell at the nursery better. I have some of the dianthus that have been around for 3+ years and they bloom every year for much longer than the Sweet William.

Yes, I love the perrenial dianthus as well! They are so tough and their bloom time is much longer! I think what I love so much about Sweet William are the massive mophead-type blooms! I think I will always have both types in my garden! ❤️
