Istg chinese dad's always have the most numbed hands, my dad sometimes hand me a hot glass or hot pan, I got startled and scold him that it was hot, he was just "hot what? It's not hot"

it helps make a smoother sauce too! if you remove the seeds as well you will have a very smooth, silky sauce!

Glad to learn a new technique for peeling tomatoes. Here’s a tip for you! Years ago I stopped canning tomatoes and started freezing them whole. When taken out of freezer a few minutes the skin slips right off.

We do the same in Yemen but we put it in boiling water with little salt and use it in many dishes like " soup , kabsa , Sayadieh even with curry " so delicious 😋
