I found it interesting the iron and wax I ordered roughly a year ago came from Peter Glenn, then I stumbled across this channel. Thanks to the recent and seemingly genuine “Out of the Box” video reviews, of coincidentally two boots I was debating between, I made the purchase. I ordered them Saturday night and they arrived today(Wednesday). Thanks for getting us the gear we need in a timely manner.

I hot wax before I go for a snowboarding holiday and then top up half way through the week with a fully liquid wax. If it's a two week trip then I'll bring my iron and hot wax during the middle weekend.

How is the liquid wax? Just bought one to try for this season? How often would you reapply during the week of the ski trip?

@krabz_oem the liquid wax would be similar to the paste. Good rule of thumb, the easier it is to put on, the less time it’s going to last.

what about waxing extruded boards?

Waxing all bases is the same process weather you use these or the traditional hot wax method. The difference between extruded and sintered bases is mainly just how they are processed. Same process for sintered bases but extruded bases don't drop off in performance as much when they are lacking proper wax.
