Jane is brilliant!!! The colors; delicious! You! ADORABLE!!! And not to mention Pam, who helped me learn to do the Lady Eve w+t!!! I've worked half a scallop so far and it's, well, WOW! Can you give her a big hug for me! And give one to yourself as well and everyone else helping you as your business makes my life so much happier. I'm humbled...And grateful. Love and lots of hugs!

Beautiful lace addition. And so simple. I love it. Just a note about the demo - I did notice a bit of a slip-up in your knitting. On the very last row, when you were knitting the 5 stitches, I believe (on the 4th stitch, which is a yarn-over in the previous row) you accidentally knit both the yarn-over and the stitch below it as your 4th stitch. I thought I would mention it as, if a viewer chose to watch the demo at a reduced speed, they might copy your error and then, wonder why they were missing a “hole” in their lace. Sorry to point out your error to you. I only wish to assist you in presenting as concise a demonstration as possible. I absolutely love your channel, your website, and the emails I receive on a regular basis. As a Copy Editor of a magazine published in the small city in which I live, I tend to notice small details. Call it a curse or a blessing, it is my nature, sigh. Anyway, please believe me that I mean no criticism, only a critique. It is offered with the most humble intentions. May the Lord bless you and continue to grant you the inspirational and spirit-filled soul that you share with all of us. Your emails have given me faith to carry on with a positive energy on some very dark days. I value your insight into the mining of joy in our lives. Thank you for being you. I look forward to your next email & video. 👵🏻🐾💕🇨🇦 🎗💙💛🌻🇺🇦🌻💛💙🎗

Thanks for sharing!! Just a quick question, is there a rule on what side to connect on? Do you cast on from the right or wrong side? And do you connect from the right or wrong side? It rarely states so in patterns....thanks again for all your lovely work!
@ExpressionFiberArts10 ай бұрын
That's a very good question. When you are working in the round it's usually on the right side unless it's stated differently. For flat knitting the pattern will indicate RS or WS in general shortly after casting on. So that will give you an indication which side the CO was on. I hope this answers your questions. 🩷

Question, with the border, do you begin on the wrong side row or a right side row? I wanna add this to my Lacey pattern shawl. So I cast on and start on the backside, the pearl side or the lace side?
@ExpressionFiberArts Жыл бұрын
Hi there, you begin on the right side row to cast on the 4 sts. I hope this answers your question. Please, let us know if there is anything else! 💕

After Row 10 do you do a knitted cast on for 4 stitches again or just start with Row 1?
@ExpressionFiberArts6 ай бұрын
Hi Nancy, thanks for your comment. I'm happy to help. After Row 10 of the border you will do the following: R11-R16: Repeat Rows 3-8. After that you will repeat Rows 9-16 until 1 st remains. Bind off all stitches until 2 sts remain on left needle. K2tog and finish binding off. I hope this explains it. 💕
