Had my cavapoo for nearly two weeks. Hates the crate. He'll eat his food in there. He'll even sleep all night in it. But tell him to get in it and he looks at me like I'm speaking a different accent. Cavapoo btw

That's quite normal. We often have to put them in to start with. Use rewards and lure him in. He'll soon learn that he gets treats when he goes in. Give him time in there during the day, too, even if you're home. He'll learn to settle and get into the habit of going in. If you only put him in when you leave the house he'll know it means you're leaving him.

@@PuppyStepsPuppyTrainingah that's makes sense. It appears we're doing the right thing then. We put him in there for different time periods to get used of being in there for different amounts of time. He's also nipping/biting abit. We say "no bite" and redirect him to a toy. Would you say this is good practice?

Quite often, biting is a result of overstimulated and over tired. If he's not sleeping properly and getting good quality sleep, then he'll be like an over tired toddler. I don't personally redirect. If he's biting you, for whatever reason, and you start playing with another toy with him, then he's learning that biting you firstly gets him attention, and secondly he gets rewarded for doing it. The tone of voice needs to be firm. Try not to pull away and make it seem like a game.
