The Easy Way To Keep Your Honda Talon 1000x4 Or Any UTV Battery Charged.

What’s up everybody. In todays video I will show you how I wired in a NoCo Battery Tender paired with a NoCo Flush Mount Plug Housing on my 2020 Honda Talon 1000x4. My goal was to create an easier way to plug my UTV in everyday to keep the battery charged while keeping the plug in an easy reach location so that I didn’t have to get dirty climbing under the wheel area to access the battery every time.

I have a noco charger ( not an onboard charger ). All you have to do is get a noco kit that connects to the battery terminals on one end and has the noco connector on the other end, run wire and place it where it's easy to get to. No onboard charger or the ac plug is needed. I put my noco plug under the hood of my Teryx. I simply remove the hood & plug it in. I added a 2nd battery & battery isolator. now when the factory battery gets charged up, the isolator starts charging the 2nd battery. I didn't have to change or add anything to the noco charger! simple, works, and no drilling needed. I have the noco genius 1 charger, the actual "charger" is built into the AC plug easy to run an extension cord to and plug in. and since it's not "on board", it's not subject to water, mud, sand, abuse, etc. etc.
