There is no light at the end of the tunnel. Economy is shot and everything outside of it, culture/social/family structure etc is as well. It’s just waiting for it to eat itself.

Criminals are in charge. People who steal write the rules. Things can only get worse for the productive side of the street when thieves eat well and grow. It really is just this simple. Decades of this and you were born into the dying phase of this process. To solve it for yourself, live apart from thieves, everywhere you can. Don't try to thrive according to a thief's rules.

Hey Jake, fairly new to the channel and i like how honest you have been in your videos. i would like to say im 25 as well and when i graduated college in 2021 and found a job, i was doing pretty well for myself until inflation and everything went up and now its just tough. Especially since I'm on salary and don't have the option of overtime like others to bring in some extra money. I do think part of the reason is like you said, they want to protect to the stock market and housing since thats where most of their wealth is and it's been sold as one of the best and safest investments for decades. And if they let the stock market and real estate crash then i think it would cause panic amongst the public and the conspiracy theorists will thrive and start to shift the mind of the people against them and that in itself will cause another problem because all people will think about is their net worth, pensions, 401k, house value, etc. being gone. So i think they would rather keep the perception of safe investments alive and just have a horrible economy and let the next generation deal with it instead of dealing with the results of a crash or continuous bear markets. P.S. Sorry for the long comment

"How are you supposed to make money without working for it?" You're supposed to make money the same way the billionaires made their money: you're supposed to steal it from the working class.

Love these off the dome videos dude. I feel you on the economy, I'm a software developer and it still feels like I'm never going to be able to get a house with a little land for some homesteading. Company growth seems to be valued above all else (i.e the beloved Chipotle burrito prices). Hopefully the free market self-corrects soon with everyone starting to realize we don't need to always be buying stuff

Propping up the housing market and stock market isn’t just about making the 1% richer, it’s also about saving the average American. So much of our livelihood depends on these assets holding or expanding its value. Think about the homes that people live in, and their retirement funds pegged to S&P 500. If those were to collapse, people would be out of work, unable to retire, lose their homes, and unable to consume products and services. So, although the stock market and housing market are not the economy, they are proxies for it.

All wealth comes from production. Growing things from the dirt, mining things from the dirt, or improving/combining/relocating these things to make them more useful. It helps to start from the basics, and understand why "the market" is anything but a market. The money is printed by some for free, as a starting point. That's half the market already based on fraud.

Now’s the time to budget and be mindful of spending and evaluating does one really need half of what one’s has or wants. Until this economy and the cost of living balances out everyone needs to stop living like it’s pre 2020.

They dont want to raise wages b/c if they do it devalues the $ more for people in their 40's and older. It would benifit the young people in the economy. But the majority of people in the US are on the older side.

That why they bring immigrants in. The native youth are disillusioned and won’t buy into it anymore. Bring in immigrants from dirt and you have someone grateful for having something slightly better

🇺🇸 I live in the Midwest and pay less than $900/month for my mortgage (I don't need a big home and I'm very frugal). Sure, I did get a 2.75% rate in late 2020, but where you live has a lot to do with the prices you pay for rent/housing and other necessities. Keep grinding and you will be successful!

Capitalism died during the 07/08 financial crisis, we elect people to suck up to our corporate overlords and bail them out when they destroy our economy time and time again. But when it comes time to help our most financially vulnerable citizens, nobody shows up.

Capitalism is alive and well. Just look at the wealth of the elites. What died in 08 was the real economy. Corporations have been getting stimulus since then. Virtually 0% on the 10s of billions they borrow. The Fed literally buying stocks to prop up the economy. Jerome Powell has just now started to unravel these things. That's why things are haywire right now. Very high interest rates to "cool off" the economy. The Fed is now trying to create a lite recession. That's the only way out of this. Everyone is having a hard time with money on purpose. What the Fed is doing is trying to curve your spending time cause this recession

@@henrytep8884 He's mostly right. Our productivity, real wages, labor participation and several other metrics never recovered after 2008. We just used debt to obscure and postpone most of the damage. That $35,000,000,000,000 bill is starting to hurt and there isn't any way out except rampant inflation (theft from you and I to the lobbied interests closest to the debt issuance)
