For all you eagle-eyed viewers out there, the flashlight tucked into the organizer is the Coast G19 inspection light. File got corrupted during transfer 😟😟 The light is handy, takes one AAA battery, but the output is a little more at 50 lumens. It's a great budget light if the output is suitable for your needs, but I'm still looking! Olight warrior mini or streamlight macrostream 🤔🤔 That is all. Enjoy the video y'all and Live with Purpose!

Simply simple! One is the few kits I've seen that are minimal but will probably do about 70% of Al tasks. Especially with the combi6 of Knipex and wave. I would recommend to add the Velcro type of zp ties, they are reusable and easy to work with. And maybe the bit kit with extender for the wave. And a victoronox compact.... Hmmm a tad too much😅

Everyone uses bic lighters, any thoughts on Zippos?
@RonKwok2 жыл бұрын
Bic is cheap and very accessible. Zippos are dope if you wanna get into fidgeting or want a more sustainable lighter, and a case that’s high quality. Your call 👌🏼

The lighter doesn't 'fray' the ends of the paracord, it melts the ends of the paracord to keep them from fraying. :-)

Great vid. I enjoy your laidback style. In addition to the Knipex 5 inch Cobra pliers, I also use the Knipex 5 inch pliers wrench. If I used a Leatherman, I might keep the pliers wrench and not carry the Cobra. Or, more likely, I would keep all three. Lol. I like both of my Knipex. I use a Maxpedition Beefy.

You mention the knipex as a 4inch tool, but i can only find the 5 inch. And the link is too a 5 inch aswell or am i wrong? :-)
@RonKwok4 жыл бұрын
You are 100% correct, the Knipex pliers featured in the video as well as the link point to the 5" model (model 87 01 125), not the 4" model. Thanks for catching that!

@@RonKwok I have some Lumintops, The tool AA lives in my pocket since I'm poking in server rooms all day I need a good flashlight. Only things I dislike about it is the pocket clip is not deep carry and I wish I got it with a magnetic tailcap (think it's something I can still get for it though)

Nice that sounds solid. Definitely love deep carry if you can find a compatible one, and a magnetic tail is a must! I have a Nitecore TIP2 in my tech pouch and it was a lifesaver when building my PC 😂

...sup Ron. I’d also recommend rolling a couple of feet of duct tape or Gorilla tape around the lighter. Also, If this is a once in a while toolkit, if the flashlight uses alkaline batteries, I’d recommend taking it out of the light or replacing it with a lithium cell and adding a spare battery. The reason being, if you don’t use it regularly, the alkaline battery can corrode inside the light and ruin the light to a point where it may not function, especially if you live in a variable climate area. Lithium won’t corrode, but they die without warning, hence a spare battery. They’re supposed to last 10 years, but... Honestly, if you have the prybrid, you’re not going to need the lynch. I’ve used my griffin pocket tool maybe twice in 3 years and it’s a pocket clip for my keys. Save that money.
@RonKwok4 жыл бұрын
These are all really good pro tips, Kevin! I've had alkaline batteries corrode on me and man it gets bad so I def agree. The duct tape tip is a really good one too, gonna handle that right now actually 👌 thanks for contributing to our little EDC community and glad you enjoyed the video!
