Dr. Sinclair is my hero. I regret that EVERYONE is not funding this research and contributing to it with their brainpower. But no, we must remain distracted with fleeting pleasures and superstition.

@@vickybiagini8623 There have been major breakthroughs, this, for one: www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/2021.06.26.449305v1?BioViva&EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2020_02_18_05_38_COPY_02&. @@farshm.7400 , I know of Bioviva from yrs ago. I also know the 1 million dollars most cant afford. Also, Celebrities are aging badly, so theres no breakthrough. If these people are aging with all their money, then theres nothing yet that works.

@@farshm.7400 , I just watched a recent video where David said drugs are right around the corner. Same speech as seven yrs ago. It seems like stuff is being developed. I'm pushing 50 in three years, and boy the years went fast.

NMN is on the market. There are several companies selling it. NR, a very similar molecule to NMN is also widely available. It costs a bit more, still. About 2$ a day. But the kind of drug David is talking about will take a while to get to the market mostly because of regulation. It takes, on average, 10 years and 1.3 BILLION dollars to get a new drug approved. You can thank your government for that :)

There are some publications by D. Sinclair on genetics.med.harvard.edu/sinclair/ (Check under "Publications". You'll find some free articles). The webpage was updated in June 2016. Not brand new, but 10 years newer than this video!

How can anything be 10 years newer than a video from 2017, that would make it 2027. Given that it is only 2018, that seems unlikely. Or have I misunderstood something about your comment?

Yea, life extension pills don't completely prevent disease, they just make it a lot less likely that you will succumb to disease. They'll have stronger pills soon. do you take any life extension therapies rn by chance?

Footnote on one paper is 2014. But he's not saying anything new. NAD+ to NADH ratio is now known to decline with age and disrupt mitochondrial cross talk with the cell nucleus. Fasting and exercise will help. Supplements like nicotinamide riboside (much less expensive than the NMN Sinclair mentions) will also help. Search for BASIS NR. I wish these researchers would be more objective and highlight non-pill methods for resetting pathways to more youthful healthy levels

I totally agree with you, Richard Nunziata! Old articles reposted! Try reading something a little newer (2015) in Spanish here: www.technologyreview.es/s/4722/pildoras-para-escapar-de-la-vejez (You can find it in English, too, since it was originally published by the MIT).

We are all designed by intelligence, and that is life. We can’t reverse the aging process, nor can we stopped it. Unless we found gene and modify it so that the next generation will live longer.
