Perhaps wealth increasing both life satisfaction, by reducing existential worries, and increasing the amount of sex by allowing for a more peacocky mating behaviour or a less stressful overall life. All we can say from a positive correlation is: "individuals with a ranking of higher life satisfaction also report having more frequent sex". Just to get scientific terms right. That's incredibly important to do, if one aspires to do fair and correct science communication. It's analogous to how us scientists use the word "theory" to describe a working and proven explanation, while the regular vocabulary lists it as what we scientists would refer to as a hypothesis. Mixing them up creates distrust in science.

Im in a very good relationship with who is probably my soulmate, and i love that man more than anything. I honestly feel like I should be studied because of how many of these points hit me. Throughout my nearly two years of relationship, ive been SA'd over 20 times (not by my lover, dont worry) and sexual exploration with someone male, the same sex as my abuser, helped greatly with coping. Having someone listen to you, discuss boundaries, and really, really care during something so intimate really helps when dealing with the complete opposite. It helped with stress, depression, suicide ideation, it even pushed me away from an extremely bad selfharm addiction. I think you should express this to him, if he is for you he will have some empathy, to try understand you, you may need to consider therapy to help steer your thoughts in a better direction, they will eventually swallow you up and it will get worst. It's ok to not be ok. You are not alone. And never be afraid or think yourself less when you feel unsure or confused, nobody out here has it all figured out. Also I had to learn this action between you and a loved one, it differs based on many factors. But do it for you, if you can't be a better version of yourself you will keep trying to please others first and that is no way to live. At first I felt very self conscious and sometimes depressed that I might not be sexually appealing to my boyfriend anymore, but I understand it now. I don’t blame him at all. I'm not gonna share names, but a close friend of mine discussed their previous relationship with me. I was thrilled that they'd open up to me, but the story that followed wasn't all that happy.
