I always suggest to get something old and cheap as first bike so you can make misstakes & learn to repair em without breaking the wallet. But if you got the money most of the bikes would be pretty good beginner bikes

As a total beginner, I started on a litter bike. Never dropped, never had an accident. Now went with 2.5 litter rocket 3. These are all doable if you can control yourself. Problem is not bike control, it is self-control.

These type of videos should be avoided at all costs. I started my riding journey on the 23MT09SP and I absolutely love the bike, even though it has a tremendous amount of power. Indeed it can be overwhelming for some new riders and in that sense I referred to new rider as someone who never drove on public roads, not even a car. If you treat the bike with respect and take it slowly with the learning curve, you will have one hell of a fun time with it

3:15 completely disagree on the KTM 790… it’s my first bike, and was the right choice for me. I’m 6’3”, 210 lbs and the “normal” beginner bikes were not a fit. Never felt overwhelming, and 8,000 miles later been absolutely everything I wanted as a beginner bike to learn the craft. Everyone has their own needs.. don’t put bikes in buckets

right they are pricey lol dont think mmost newbies are gonna spend a ton on a supersport and if they do well theyw ill end up like me and love it XD as i started on a R1 cuz im an idiot however its very doable if ur not sped. ive since changed over to a honda vtx 1800 as ita much better at crusing long distance

not sure i agree with this one, i guess it depends on what you mean by beginner motorcycles, to me your a beginner for at least your first 2 years of riding,in the uk you have no choice but to start on a restriced 125cc 14.7bhp bike to get you trough your test then its on to somthing biger, in my opinnion these 125cc bikes are so underwhelming that it turns off a lot of new riders and becomes an absolute must to change the bike as soon as the test is done, and then there is the sizable jump to your first biger bike where even a middle weight bike is a massive jump, pesonally id think the 400 class (around the 30bhp mark) would be more aproriate as a learner then on to a middle weight so the transition isnt as bad when inside your first 2 beginner years of riding, but for those places without the silly restrictions like we have in the uk id say alot of middle weight bikes can be ok, eg the triumph street tripple rs on this list would be fantastic, buy a used one add some crash/drop protection and its perfect, its a tripple so not as agressive as a twin cylinder at low rpm and not as revey as a 4 cylinder, under 8k rpm its quite dosile with plenty of punch for most riders when needed, the fueling is perfect with no jerks or serging on the throttle and can be riden in 6th gear at like 25mph without chugging (even my car cant do that), then as the experience grows let it ripp past 8k and see it transform from jeckal into hide leran how to keep the wheal down wile it tryes to hedbutt the horizon

i went from a benelli leonchino 125cc, cbt to full A license to the Triumph 765 RS 2024, I love it not sure i could achive the full 128HP but its quick getting upto speeds and very smooth! Alot of the 700cc bikes with extras features are perfect for people passing there A2 and A cat bikes, there great for beginners in my opinion, i can disable TCS ABS rain (90HP) sport (reduces ABS and TCS) road (Agressive TCS/ABS) track is Zero TCS / ABS, Street triple is a safe bike for any rider, its not the bike its the user, you ride like a twat you lose respect the road and the bike your going to be fine. Oh i passed my A on the triumph 660cc Trident amazing bike, its what encounrage me to get the 765 RS

Some bikes do have the restriction kit for new riders. By law in some regions. But The Tiger 660 by Triumph got the award for the best New beginner bike. I have the 660, and as an experienced rider, she is tame.... or can be, yet can be peppy when the need arises. The riding mode adjust, helps with this for new and advanced riders. It's not under impressive, but not overwhelming. The tiger is in that Goldilocks Zone. The torque is middle of the ground... not overwhelming for a beginner, but in the road mode, is ample for what a 660 should deliver.
