I'm sure the Hero of Kvatch broke the Greymarch cycle permanently, assuming the mantle of the Madgod and becoming the new Sheogorath. Despite being confirmed, it's pretty obvious with the encounter in Skyrim. He's still the Madgod, but his motive in "treating" Pelagius was suspiciously heroic, so he seems to still have some of the Champion's personality at his core. Old Sheo would have just had you collect cheese, or something equally ridiculous ;)

I really *really* love the idea that the Sheogorath in Skyrim is the Hero of Kvatch. The Sheogorath in Skyrim is *curing* someone of madness. Pretty heroic wouldn't you agree?

It’s interesting to think how long the Hero of Kvatch would last though. As great of a hero as they were, you have to wonder how long your old personality, even if just the vestiges, could last before being completely rewritten by a god.

@@yourlocalbicronoverlord There is no "overwritten". Sheogorath is a curse, a curse that alters the behavior of the victim to act in a mad way, but they still keep being themselves. By the end of Gray March, the Prince of Order pass the curse to you.

@Jay What? The whole reason he created lycanthropy was because it made the mortal both hunter and hunted. So yeah, most lycanhropes end up going to his realm, but I would imagine whether you become the prey or the predator is entirely up to the whims of a Daedric Prince who really likes hunting things. That thing could be you, if he's in the mood for it.

Why would you look for "All knowledge" when you can EARN enough of it serving Magnus/Julianos without getting utterly destroyed... At least Sheogorath doesn't try to hide his "Dark" side. The best trait of being mad is being unpredictable. Which is how Sheogorath defeated Herma in the first place if I'm not mistaken.

It's a bit funny that Jyggalag is the one that's insane rather than Sheogorath. You've got some great vids, I subbed. It's good to find a channel that reminds me of some of the Soulsborne(JSF, Mitch L, and a couple others) KZbinrs I watch that digs a bit deeper than others. I like FudgeMuppet(and until now they were the only ones I really watched regarding TES) and all but they remind me of Vaati which is a more streamlined/popular type of channel that's lacking in depth making it easier for them to reach a wider viewer base. I've always compared the streamlined channels to the more in-depth ones like this, one is like a grade school teacher whereas the other is like a college professor, most people won't reach the professor and will stop with the grade school teacher, if that makes any sense. Anyways, I hope to see your channel grow and that you keep making TES lore vids

This should be marketed as a ESO add. Only because it makes me want to return to it so much lol I played it in the first year, but then became enamoured of Mortal Online, so I quit... I'd totally buy the Morrowind expansion if I knew. You make ESO sound so cannon, when I initially tossed it off as trash when I found book written hundreds of years in the future to be included. Bravo :)

ESO during it's initial release it really wasn't so good, Bethesda has since fixed a lot of issues that were in the game. One thing about the 4th era books being in a game set in the 2nd era could be explained by the effects of the Planemeld. A number of other strange occurrences took place because of the Planemeld, such as some of Sheogoraths Plane of Oblivion getting merged with some of Nocturnals. Time works incredibly strange in the Elder Scrolls and it has been broken multiple times, but that could be one explanation for it! Although I do feel Bethesda simply didn't realize the dates in which they were written in lore and were just like ohh this is a good one put this one in lol. But I do like to think of it as the uncanny and unpredictable effects of the Planemeld. 😃

Everyone is scared of Molag Bal till Sheogorath shows up. 😎 What if he made The Dragonborn think that he/she is a Dragonborn? And all the suppose powers are all in his or her mind, conquered up by Sheogorath himself...🤔 And that we... The Dragonborn... destroyed the great world eater through the help of Sheogorath making us hallucinate all those abilities of which Sheogorath has himself. 😱 He was known to get involved in mortal affairs, but has a true soft spot for the mortal realms, especially towards mortal hominids of Tamerial, in the same way we treat our beloved pets. He did got the Dragonborn to enter his realm to cure a dead kings mental illness, so that he (Sheogorath) can be reunited with one of his devout followers. For all we know it was Sheogorath that saved Skyrim. .. and just used Dragonborn as a way to get involved as always. When it comes to this Daedric nothing makes sense and yet it does. I would love to see his encounter and conversations with Hermaeus Mora.
