When it's finished and the kickstarter launches, where will the physical copies be shipped from? So I know if I will have customs duties. If I purchase the digital ROM, can it be played on any flashcard? Will it fit in 4MB?

Initially they will be shipped from Brazil. But I'm not discarding the possibility of partnering with a manufacturer somewhere else to lower costs. The rom file should be playable on any flashcart. I believe most flashcarts work with roms of any size too. I test my builds using a flash cart myself. As for the size of the rom, that's still not certain as the game is still under development. But it's likely to go over 4 MB and require a rom mapper on the official cart. Where are you from, if you don't mind me asking? And how much does it usually cost to import a product like this? Any information you can give is helpful in setting the prices!

@@diegofloor Thank you for responding, I am writing to you from Europe, from Spain. Our customs usually applies 21% VAT, which is correct, but they also usually add €20-25 more for customs management, a fact that makes importing products very expensive. It would be necessary to ship from Europe, or if sent from outside, the VAT must have been paid in advance and the IOSS must be added to the shipping invoice (VAT payment number). If the cartridge is going to have a special mapper, it will stop working on a normal flashcard, right? a physical copy will be required. I would like to buy the physical copy, but if it is shipped from outside Europe it will become very expensive.

@@indibil That is such a ludicrously expensive fee. I'll try my best to make it as easy as possible. The campaign is actually being run from Spain, officially. I might be able to ship a larger amount to my associate there, so he can distribute to people in Spain. The larger batch might help absorb some of that cost. About the rom size and flash carts. Maybe it depends on the flash cart? The one I have from Krikzz doesn't seem to have any limitation on rom sizes. I'll definitely look into which flash carts might have a problem with my rom as well.

@@diegofloor Great if it is sent from Spain! Then I will buy a physical copy. Will the text of the game be translated into Spanish? I use Chinese flashcart, maximum 56MB I think.

@@indibil I have no translations planned yet. But, who knows! if the campaign exceeds my expectations and I have some extra funding, and this is something people want, I don't see why not! Now, I might not know if it will be above 4 MB, but it should be under 10 MB, for sure!
