With respect, Marius Leitdorf attacked the Moot because the Halflings deviously stole from him and endangered the Empire for financial benefit. He paid halflings on contract to build a strong road from one location to another. The purpose of this road was to allow imperial armies to quickly move between these two points. The problem was that there was a strong river between these places and so a bridge was needed to complete the road. When the two roads had reached the river, the halflings claimed that their job was done now that the currently bridge-less road was made. Marius disagreed as the point of the contract was to allow parties to travel unhindered from one place to another and without a bridge, the road was useless. The halflings claimed that the contract determined "roads" and that "bridges" were not mentioned. The halflings then claimed that they would make a bridge but only for a ridiculously large price. Marius having lost a large amount of money already, decided that he would instead have humans build the bridge. Whenever humans began building the bridge, their supplies and builders would disappear in the night. Whenever guards were placed to protect supplies and people, they would often disappear themselves. Finally sick of having halflings stealing his supplies and kidnapping his workers, Marius attacked the Moot to scare the thieving bastards from preventing the bridge from being built. He was successful and the bridge was eventually built. However he was too enthusiastic with his revenge (It was his most successful battle on his record, fighting civilians instead of soldiers) and the halflings played the victim card. Thus Marius was reprimanded for his actions despite that his actions were for the greater good of the Empire. As a side-note whenever Marius felt hesitance he would ask Daisy. "Should I stop, yay or neigh? (joke)

Like any respectable Skaven general will tell you, it is his sacred duty to guide and lead his kinsmen to glorious victory, and thus he must be in a position where he can safely- I mean effectively!- observe the ebb and flow of battle and thus issue the necessary orders! Furthermore, as all generals know, is is prudent to have someone guard the way back in the very unlikely case that a retreat must be called. And though it no doubt pains the general to make this sacrifice, it should fall to him to guard this minor path instead of fighting alongside his brethren for the glory of all ratkin.

Just as a note towards the German at 23:30. As a German i will like you to know that your pronounciation is off. the Ö is used in the German language, but in this case it actually is Ostmark and English speakers are pronouncing it almost exactly like we do here. Long O. I was in the German fraternity Ostmark Beuthen and we sang that word every week as part of get-togethers :D It means "Eastern border land."

Jens Heika Simonsen "Mark" is a march in the German language, basically because it is on the easternmost frontier of the Empire where all of the lovely folks up in the chaos wastes flood into the Empire during a chaos invasion.

Jens Heika Simonsen Well the Lord of a March (e.g. Margrave/Marquess) was usually given that title based on their military prowess and loyalty to the crown, since marches were given additional autonomy from the crown in order to most effectively organize their defence and also since they tended to be geographically distant from the center of court influence. So a region being established as a "march" wasn't really a shameful designation. Marches were often newly acquired or conquered territory though that had yet to be fully integrated into the realm of their respective nations. (This is speaking of the real world naturally. I don't pretend to be an expert on WH so maybe they have a different definition in the game's lore.)

In your Orcs and Goblins lore video you said that the orcs have pain boyz who heal da boyz and then you said that there is no finesse in a orc pain boy when he's performing his job, he nails the arm back on as an example. Is there any indepth Lore breaking down Dwarf clans? Detailed background for leaders and heroes of the dwarven realm. And perhaps some worthy dwarvish landmarks as well. Why are there no boar/bear riders for the dwarfs? or any other underground beasts of burden? Would like to hear some very detailed Dwarf Lore, down to the colors and symbols of different clans. Working on my dwarf army, the most fun aspect is creating my own clans with unique converted weapons. And yet I know very little of actual dwarven lore. Apart from Sqeek Headtaker book and your amazing total war - darf lore and units videos.
