Stage 2 Hoods - Win 4 Outrun events Stage 3 Performance Upgrades (Engine, Transmission & Tyres) - Win 3 Outrun events Rims - Win 6 Outrun events Stage 4 Spoilers - Win 4 Outrun events Vinyls - Win 6 Outrun events Performance Upgrade (ECU, Turbo & Brakes) - Win 9 Outrun events Stage 5 Performance Upgrade (Nitrous Oxide, Weight Reduction & Suspension) - Win 6 Outrun events Wide Body Kits - Win 11 Outrun events One warning is that you will need to get these upgrades in the stage they are currently on. So for an example is if you try to save a unique rim for a car you do not get until stage 4 or later (or you decided you want to wait until a later stage to get them) you will forever lose the chance to get the unique rims again. The same goes with all outrun rewards you get. That shifting you mention will still happen regardless if you have stage 1, stage 2 or 3 transmission. The bug will still happen, I have that happen to me when I play this game on the pc for the first time. Even reddit talked about this bug

@onedeep drivetrain matters in UG2 then UG1 because rather if you pick RWD or AWD for drifting will determine how good you do in drifting as well as tuning your vehicle
