I've got to say, as a person not from the US, I initially didn't like him over-mentioning his political views in his songs or elsewhere when he talks about political party agenda or politicians. But, guess what, I always respect what he stands. I can understand that he is letting out his emotions and giving his opinion. It also won't make sense that he is supposed to be silent and not speak at all when regular people are allowed to have political opinions. By law, he has the freedom of expression of his political views, and no one can stop him from saying it. Also, people on social media nowadays are clout chasing on what other people generally like or prefer in a topic and pretend to like the same. And, when it comes to politics, as far as I can see from outside the US in news articles and social media posts, there is a trend of hate towards Kamala Harris. So, more than Eminem's stand, the most important thing to note is that people are forcing celebrities and influencers to always speak what they want to listen to rather than listening to what is being said. This makes me feel the pain of the celebrities, as their freedom of speech is ripped off, and if they say something that is usually considered unpreferred, people want to cancel him. First of all, I don't understand the logic behind cancel culture cause you can not cancel a person, which is that simple to understand. Thus, I can only see people's disappointment just because Eminem, being a big figure, said something that people don't agree with and want to hate his opinion, just cause they don't agree with. I'm from an "older" generation and even in my own family we are divided over our politics. We will debate each other from time to time, but never have we gotten angry and disowns one another because we don't agree. I've never witnessed such division. It's quite sad that we've forgotten how to agree to disagree. Great scenery in your video, You live in a beautiful area.
