I understand this (the difference between having emotion for someone and wanting to commit to a relationship), but I think the problem many of us women have with this is that many guys will wait WAY too long to be honest about this. Often, a guy like this will wait until we women have deep feelings for him...and to me, that’s shitty of him. As in your example client - if the guy knew he didn’t want a relationship, why didn’t he say that ON THE FIRST DATE?!?! Not a month or two into things! THAT is what makes even a “nice” guy an ass in our eyes. This is common sense.

This guy I was seeing is this guy, I thought we were making progress because at the beginning I just saw him as my fuck buddy but he showed so much interest in me that it change my way of seeing him and we started something beyond sex, but later on I found out he can't handle emotions very well (it has to do with his family), and now he won't commit. So now we cut communication and I'm starting to understand that even if he's a fantastic guy and we have a brilliant relationship I won't wait, I want and deserve more than what he's willing to give me.
@hedheiclark60485 жыл бұрын
This guy told me he wanted to be with me, but wanted to wait until he got all of his shit together(he moved in with his sister after his apartment flooded). I respected that. He invested time into me, took me on unique/quirky dates, and texted and called me on the daily basis. We weren’t together, but he would refer to me as his girl, whenever talking about me to someone. He even introduced me to his family... as his girlfriend. The love we made was very passionate, and wherever we went... people would compliment us on the chemistry we had. He gave me so many different pieces of his favorite clothing(hoodies and shirts). We also experienced one of the best nights of our lives together. We attended a rock concert, and he was so protective of me. He pushed through the crowd and saved me from a moshpit. He was actually about to get into a fight with a guy because he thought I was annoyed with him. Not only that, but he was extremely affectionate at the concert. HELLA PDA. Interlocking fingers, sweet kisses, tight hugs, slow dancing(yes... at a rock concert). Told me he needed me. Told me I was his other half. Told me he didn’t think he could feel this way about a woman again. Told me I felt like home. Told me I didn’t have to worry about him going anywhere. I said all that to say, that he left me a week later. Did a complete switchup and broke things off. Told me he wasn’t in a place to take things further, and I deserve someone who can give me stability. We were supposed to take a trip to California this summer 😣 Guys will play with your emotions ladies. Be careful 😞.

I appreciate your videos and advise, Elliot, but this video is a bunch of BS. It's time to stop making excuses for unconscious behavior from men. Equally, women need to pay attention to men's actions and words too, and stop thinking we can change him, or if we just wait around long enough, he'll change his mind. If he knew he wanted to be single, he should have told her that from the outset and hypothetically she should believe him. He is just making excuses for his lack of self-awareness and the effects it has on the people around him. It's time for this kind of unconscious behavior from men to stop. I refuse to make excuses for men like him anymore. It's time to raise our standards, ladies. Cut these men loose early and move on.

he is contradicting himself , he has said in many videos before if a man thinks that you are high value he would commit. He even gave the example of Jennifer Aniston
@bellabong88624 жыл бұрын
Yep. I agree. We ladies need to operate from this truth and not settle for less: If we are left to wonder whether the guy truly loves us, the answer is NO! He is not really a nice guy, is he, if he is selfishly using us for benefits (sex, emotional comfort, ego stroking, enjoying our companionship, etc.). If he does love us, he WILL commit and not risk losing us. Why would we stupidly settle for being just a placeholder until we get the heartbreaking news that he took the plunge with someone else and married HER? Happens all the time. Go for the guy who shows by consistent ACTIONS (be deaf to his sweet words) that they want us and removes any doubts of his love and intentions to have a future with us (i.e., proposes with a ring that hurts his pocketbook and sets a wedding date). And for heavens sake, do not give it up to any man who won't commit! As Pat Allen wisely says, a woman who gives up her parts gives up her heart. A man who won't commit does not deserve our heart (and certainly not our parts). We all must raise our standards, ladies, and be role models for our daughters or other young girls!

This is my life. I've been waiting for you to address. I have a neighbor friend lover situation. Been going for 2 years. oh boo! guys that can't commit is not because of emotion, it because he still got feelings for ex- girlfriend. let's call the shit for what it really is. If a guy gonna waste my time by having me get emotionally invested in him, that he can't commit to me, then i might as well have other options. That all he gonna do anyway. It not fair for a girl to be a rebound to an emotionally unavailable guy either. I get so sick of these types of guys, cuz this is what becoming common now. Which is why i'm never gonna try to like just 1 guy again, cuz he might not be serious enough to be with you. So it best to have many options with other men just in case the one guy you want, doesn't want to commit to you.

lol yeah a lot of girls I've met don't understand that, I do actually I tend to distance myself from guys lately though, mostly because I don't want to hog their time and over load them with stories of my life, it's important to have a mystery about yourself if you like a guy, there's a guy I like right now, but it doesn't mean I want a commitment with him because I really don't have a desire to even get married anymore, i'm not the commitment type of girl guys like this usually work better with me though because they usually prefer open-relationships, if they do fall in love. It gives them more of an option to explore and have fun. As long as your honest about it. It's pretty hard to read a man's mind, because they say one thing, and then they turn around and suddenly have an awakening and now suddenly they want a commitment if they see a girl like me that won't accept a commitment. Always wanting what they can't have, women are pretty simple, make a decision, stick with it, and then we will stop being so crazy. It's pretty hard to know what anybody wants unless they stop lying about it.

Then i came to the conclusion, hes just not for me and i did nothing to merit his lack of interest to move things forward. I know im damned good girlfriend material and he missed out and certainly someone else more deserving will come into my life when im done working on me and manifesting what i truly want in the future. Has anyone ever thought of the idea or a reason that a man can't commit, would be because maybe he has some personal issues that he's dealing with? Maybe he's going through a lot of health issues like psychological, emotional, and physical health issues that make it difficult for him to feel adequate enough to be able to commit to a woman whom he cares about and really likes. Nobody ever really bring that subject up everybody always thinks that if a man doesn't commit that he has a hidden agenda or that he's trying to keep his options open in case another woman comes along, or that he's just trying to have his cake and eat it too. But there's not a lot of coaching advice videos about the reasons why some men cannot commit is because perhaps they're struggling with personal issues that make it difficult for them to commit.he could be struggling with psychological issues such as depression and anxiety and that would fall under the category of mental health and emotional well-being. But nobody ever really brings that up or talks about it. So there's another legitimate reason as to why a man would find it difficult to commit to a woman whom he really likes and cares about!

that honestly sounds like an excuse for not trying. Like it's the woman's fault they felt out of love? Nah, he just wants to not commit, and then say they weren't for him, when it's his issue

I'm in this EXACT situation as her. I do not know wherher to just take him off my contact list so I quit talking to him. He asks me "How are you gorgeous?" Something like that every morning, so...😔💔 Do I just stop talking to him and get him off of my mind now? He'll keep talking to me, but I dig him SO much I can't see other men as long as I talk to him. He's a great guy too.

I may have missed it but canyou do a video about when you meet a man who has a friend with benefits and she keeps lingering around. It's obvious from a female perspective she wants a relationship with him but he is not interested. She won't move on and is always lurking and sexually available. If I kick up a stink then it looks like I'm being jealous but she is so persistent to the point of buying sporting tickets for both of them to go. If he went with a male friend I would not mind but it irks me that he goes with this female friend. It feels more like a traingle than a pair.
@Pattie-o7f6 жыл бұрын
that's called triangulation which is what narcissists do...I'd run if I were you. They come off as emotionally unavailable which they are but there's more to it.
@biancapierce6395 жыл бұрын
@@Pattie-o7f I'm not referring to when a man is a narcissist and is playing the women against each other. This is the case of a pushy, highly manipulative woman who knows how to guilt trip him. His female friends do not think that he likes her because they remember how differently he responded to a woman he was in love with but who ended up dumping him. The one male friend that I spoke to said that he did not think there was any relationship between them. I moved on because I do not think he fell in love with me, I think he still isn't over the girl he was in love with. However, this woman is going to make it hard for any woman that turns up on the scene.

Tahamene Park if you are truly ready to not have him in your life, then ditch him. Theres always that possibility he may not return in no contact so if youre ready for that then by all means do so. However i think you wanna do no contact to see if he might return and miss you and sometimes they do. Sometimes they dont. Also , if it has to take no contact for him to realize your worth and value then do you really want a man like him? If he cant commit to you at the peak of the attraction like Elliot says, and commit to you during the beginning when things are hot n heavy then why would he commit when things are in the middle stages. I learned this the hard way, sis. They mostly wont if its been sometime and theyre not showing signs of wanting exclusivity or taking you off the market.

Would it be safe to say, I feel like I'm the one who can't commit. I also see that we're both treating the "relationship" equally in a sense that we like each others company, but we seem to not really fully commit to it. I told him I wanted a relationship, and he said he wants a relationship too. Although, I think he was just scared to hurt my feelings, and now we're just seeing where it goes.

He told me he cannot commit, but suggested an more "open" relationship, without barriers, responsability..He got off an 10year relationship and don´t want to get through the pain again, that´s what he told me. Now, what should i do? I´m in love with this guy...we haven´t talked since then..i told him mine conditions "that i want a relationship"..we haven´t spoke since then..

So, going off of this video/message, is it commonplace for these men to eventually come around and be ready to commit or do they tend to just always be hesitant to commit? Also, should a woman who is in this situation, keep some level and type of minimal communication line open with the man but on a friend level to let him know that she is still interested when or if he does come around?
@bellabong88624 жыл бұрын
Don't wait and don't keep a line of communication open. Move on. If they "wake up" and see what they've lost and want to rekindle, do you really want that anyway? You should be Hell Yeah! from day one, not a Hmmmm.

Why u want nice guy to provide u and your child who belong to other man or to provide u when u banging your alpha man . And if he commit to you after some time u will get divorce then that nice guy who is providing u is now homeless ,he lost everything . After divorce u will get new alpha men ,but in nice guy story there is no one, he's just homeless poor guy ,he can't get a gf because he's poor so now hes working hard to improve his life. Don't blame nice guys they know that if they fall for someone ,the life is gonna be hard sooner or later.

Guys i really really need advice ! I'm desperate that's why i'm posting it here ! So i have a male friend that i've known for 3 years now, from the very first contacts we had a great connetion, we share the same passions and are on the same page on pretty much everyrhing ! When i met him i had a long distance boyfriend and he was very flirty and so was i and all of our friends noticed ( it was hard not o notice) and a lot of people thought we were together, i eventually broke up but we never got together ( long story), we remained great friends after that, few months later he had a girlfriend but again, every time we all got together our friends couldn't help but notice that something could happen between us, a year later he finished uni ( a year before me) than broke up with his gf , that's were we got really really close , he used to come to see me , we talked ALL THE TIME even when he's at work or super busy, he always answers me immidietly even if it's the stupidest thing ever ( a meme a video a song), it was a real honest genuine frienship, he has my back, i could talk to him about anything and we would open up to each other about anything, so much love and so much trust and true friendship, so far i forbidded myself from any romantic feelings, BUT, in june while he was talking to me at one point i asked him if he saw the video i just sent him he said he's on the phone , i assumed it was a gf but i thought it was weird he didn't say anything , i didn't paid much attention to it, then during the summer we got even closer and the conversations were deeper ( until 2 Of the morning like always) until during a conversation same thing i sent a video, he didn't see it but we kept talking, asked about the video he said he's on the phone ( like litteraly he was texting me while he was on the phone !!!! ) so i said ooow you never told me, he said yeah i did , referring to the other time , i said no u didn't and spit it out now, he said he wzs tired and he'll tell me everything another time, i was pissed and he knew it, so i took a break from internet and disappeared for 10 days, i found a lot of messages from him asking where i am, almost every day, i said that i wanted a break, we talked normally after that but he started pulling away , he rarely initiated so considering how dear he is to me i thought maybe something's wrong with him, i ssent a text saying that he's distant and if anything is bugging him my door's is open anytime, he only replied with thank's it's nice, but the day after he was talking normally, he went to a vacation yo paris and of all of our friends he told only me but whzn he came back he stopped texting me so i pulled the breaks and didn't text either, 13 days passed and he appeared yesterday sending me a funny picture to break the ice, i was cold and shortly answered his questions and didn't even ask how he's been and i left it there ! Now i don't know what to do ! I'm pissed at him for ghosting me like that and i'm glad he reacged out and he's veeeeeery dear to me and i miss him so much but i don't know what to do ! Should i talk to him again ? What to say ? What to do ? Please help ? ( ps: i know for sure that it's not serious with the gf and she'll probably ask him about marriage and he's far from ready, and should mention that he always avoided ti talk about his relationships but mentionned line a few rimes out of the blue ) help me !!!!
