This really helped clarify recent experiences. specifically that the most powerful AWAKENING or more accurately EXPERIENCING came ON ITS OWN with the absence of seeking. What is generally not explained is that all the stuff that appears to us moment by moment, thoughts, things, emotions, people etc. is not separate from the knowing of it. We have gotten used to focusing on the stuff and not on the inseparable knowing. There is nothing compelling us to focus on the stuff other than the habit that we trained in. Waking up is the gradual shift from the stuff to the awareness. The stuff doesn't need to change as it is awareness and so we can let all the stuff be as it is, this includes the apparent separate self which doesn't need to be dropped in any way as it is also just another thing that is already inseparable from awareness. We don't have to wait for Being to drop the self simply notice awareness.

Being conscious in the dream does not remove the fact that awareness needs to function in the dream through set of mental, emotional and physical "vehicles". Stabilised Awareness does not consistently need to insist that "There is no one talking" because all is one, everything can be embraced as one even the "sense of I" as life is seen from Awareness which, from another angle, can be called integral non-attachment

Whether we can watch these in pure(no templates) observation without it becoming a distortion feedback loop is debatable- as the observer is the observed. It can be easier to just to clear off the thoughts that are digging into us by staying with and flushing right through them, by breathing with them through the head, whilst also being aware of everywhere and now-where (not controlling or finite sectioning sight). When the mind is clear of thought it gives us a spacious canvas of infinite potential which is ultimately flexible which may not be to embrace, whatever works in an often awkward world.
