I own both F1 and Watchtower rifles. I love the new direction the company is going. Especially with their new Apache double stack 1911. I can’t wait to see what happens with them in the coming years.

Hey I was looking to buy the new Watchtower Type 5M AR9 however I cannot find any reviews on that weapon. Since you have experience with this company, can you attest to the reliability of their firearms in general and perhaps the Type 5m in particular? Thanks in advance

Loved F-1 rigs and REALLY love the direction Watchtower is heading! I have lifestyle-ish F-1 BDRx rigs as well as Type 15 and Type 10 rifles. The precision-machining going into these more practical workhorse systems is on point! They run like Swiss clocks and I'm not worried about the finish. I'm hard on my stuff and the Watchtower rigs just eat everything I throw at them -- I've ran them hard AF. I also can't wait to put their Apache double-stack 1911 to work. Top shelf company led by elite American warfighters, producing ridiculously reliable, 100% American-made systems? I'll happily support that. Also, good review!

I always enjoy your videos, but these days it’s hard to get excited about an AR-15. There are always new features and wizbangs but at the end of the day an AR is an AR.

The 8-screw handguard attachment looks very BRN-180-ish. The barricade stop is an interesting touch. The only thing I'd be concerned about with all the lightening holes is whether they bumped-up the wall thickness of the handguard enough to create clearance issues with M-lock screws and the gas block, which is sitting about where certain types of rail-mounted accessories need to go. Hopefully, that's not the case.

I met with some spokesmen for watchtower at an event a while ago. Nice guys who were passionate about their product. A lot nicer than the sig representative lol. Watchtower gave me a free shirt and patch. It made me want to replace my saint Victor with their type15M.

Physical Vapor Deposition is slick but needs to be applied thick enough to be as durable as black Nitride or even DLC. I have PVD pistol slides that are already wearing through in places, so unless applied thick enough, it appears no more durable or slick than a good nitride finish. Good looking weapon. Just wondering how the finish will hold up compared to say, a BCM.

I love my F1 AR in 6.5 Creedmoor. It’s all black, serrated but not skeletonized. It’s conservative for an F1 I guess.😂 Really nicely built and accurate as all get out. Sad to see them go, but interested in this new Watchtower venture.

Gotta say I like having the option for both military and custom looking guns. I’m somewhere between a competition and defensive shooter. I enjoy both. Wish the 2A community would chill out a little with preference issues.

I Like it , Very Seldom Do i like the Rifle Right Out of the Box. I would Probably Put a Magpul Stock because that's my favorite, but the stock is Nice i could leave it and be happy. I wish you would show them in FDE OR OD Green
