Sergio Perez really thought he'd win the 2024 Mexican Grand Prix. Instead, he jumped the start, embarrassed himself with Liam Lawson, got overtaken by Stroll, and couldn't even manage the fastest lap at the end. There's PLENTY more to cover in this one though, so here are my thoughts on the entire weekend!

It's worse they send liam Lawson first to take fastest lap from Lando, then when he got it Perez was then sent to take it followed by Charles Leclerc who was taking it for the Ferari while maintaining 3rd position. Charles taking fastest lap was the only thing that made sense among the fastest lap contenders.

I knew Sainz had a great shot at P1 and he would jump on it. Everyone knows that Max opens the inside when he is pushing someone off track and both LeClerc at COTA and Sainz in Mexico proved that Max is predictable and deserved the 20 second penalty. Lando taking LeClerc was beautiful but unless Max has a DNF, I just don’t see how he can take the title. Maybe Albon or Stroll or Tsunoda can help! Pretty funny that after the bitching about Ricciardo taking fastest lap in Singapore, Lawson does the same in Mexico. Viva!
