Glad you found it helpful. I am satisfied with the video compression, it looks good to me. Audio sounds good as well compared to StreamYard the audio compression seems the same or close. I have tried melon before and I wasn’t happy with the results. Feel free to test Evmux for free and see if you like it. The free version gives you all the pro features except their logo that you can remove for $19 if you like it . All in 1080 p

Can you send multiple RTMP endpoints TO EVMUX or are they limited to Webcam input? For example my drone can send to an RTMP endpoint, it would be great to include that live feed into a larger broadcast.

I am glad it was helpful. Yes you can use 2 cameras either by sending a link to yourself and bringing that camera in as a guest or by using an external switcher like the Atem mini.

Bro I use 5 different Logitech webcams, a AKASO Brave 4k sports camera, an a GoPro Black 9, currently in my Livestream set up and it works on every single platform I go on, I use streamyard but I guest regularly on other platforms and I use all my gear. The only things I have not been able to use during lives as of yet through my MacBook pro are my cell phones and my Canon M-50 Mark 5, oh and my Canon Vixia series camcorders that are supposedly able to be streamable, all the Canon utility software doesn't work on MacBook pro. But I figure if I just try on my Nitro 5 they will all work.

It depends on your purpose. If you want to schedule the streams or your want to simply play it and stream it in the software. OBS is great and free but it will not give you an option to schedule. If you want to upload and schedule your streams, restream is good, I believe Evmux has this functionality as well

@@hispurpose3613 yes Restream is great. However with that length you may wanna check the available bandwidth for you depending on the plan you pick. Also consider Evmux and Livepegeon … either way I recommend you some testing to see if you are happy

Good morning I am looking to start streaming through my very small church. Right now I do Facebook live with my phone only However I do have a laptop and I have been searching I spoke with one of other preachers who have used caster but he also uses OBS with it I wanted something as easy as possible I came across streamyard streamyard seems to be or make it seem like I don't need anything else but that software can you please advise what would be easiest and most efficient they told me I wouldn't need a webcam and I would need a microphone. With all the different informations I'm getting and the lack of education or knowledge I'm confused I thought by selling my church stream your it would be the best thing for them I'm not so sure please advise if you can help. Hello thanks for the comment. It may be confusing but don’t worry I can guide you. OBS is free but it comes with a little bit of learning needed. StreamYard or Evmux are easy to use and require less computer processing. Ecamm live and Vmix are also relatively easy and more powerful for church production. They require a little bit of computer power so.. I wouldn’t advise you to use a webcam . Maybe get a mirror less camera is a better option. Here’s why I’ve canceled my evmux subscription. Note: For weeks I tested evmux on an M1 using macOS Monterey and an Intel-based Mac using Big Sir. The following occurred on both computers: -UNACCEPTABLE BUGS - 1) The evmux software often records nothing but gray screen. 2) In the recording, sometimes the background appears many seconds later. 3) In the recording, sometimes the avatar arrives many seconds later or is completely absent. 4) Sometimes the audio avatar gets stuck. Other times it’s completely absent. 5) When sharing a video from the computer, the audio is slow, then fast, then slow, etc. [I tested numerous video files-including WebM. This classic video error does not occur with Ecamm Live or StreamYard.] 6) In Pro Scenes, ‘lock’ does not actually lock the element. I.e., if someone accidentally presses the wrong key, the element can/will move. [E.g., run a slideshow and press the right arrow. Use the wrong key followed by an arrow and watch the element jump and then continue moving off the screen.] 7) In Pro Scenes, in the recording, sometimes layers initially appear without others; this renders a very unprofessional recording. 8) In Pro Scenes, sometimes ‘auto-switching’ did not switch. 9) Gray leader prior to the black leader in the beginning of recording. (I’ve seen this occur in evmux demos.) 10) Too many dropped frames. (I’ve seen this occur in evmux demos.) 11) Warning messages appear in very inconvenient locations (over the controls). 12) The branding font-size is out of proportion from one scene to the next. 13) In Pro Scenes, during a PDF slideshow, the transitions do not always work and/or a slide flickers back in during the transition. - MISSING FEATURES - A) Inability to kick and/or block a guest (ref. StreamYard). B) Inability for a guest to upload their own avatar (ref. StreamYard). C) Inability to run a PDF slideshow in Dynamic Scene mode (ref. StreamYard). D) See just how easy it is? evmux Pro Scenes, in my opinion, is quite complicated. Without a lot of practice, there is (again, my opinion having used Ecamm Live and StreamYard) a huge potential for error and/or frustration.

I don’t recommend web based software for musical performance streaming. Mostly the way the encode sound is not the same as a locally installed software. Also with a locally installed software you have control over your bit rate, so I would suggest you try OBS, vMix, Ecamm Live etc..

While StreamYard (for example) is able to hide it from my guest, because they are not able to peek in my BACKSTAGE, apparently EVMUX cant hide it. They can see whatever I prepare. From my experience, audio quality does not depend on streaming platforms but on audio recording equipment. Which kind of microphone(s) you use, for example. The best option always is to pick up audio directly out of a mixing board and feed that into your stream. No matter which streaming platform you use.

@@medialex78 I agree and disagree . Your audio equipment is crucial and the way you mix and capture audio into the stream will determine the quality as your mentioned and that’s true. However every streaming software will have to encode that audio along with your video and other graphics to push them to the web. That’s where an extra layer of compression is added and most web browser-based platforms tend to not do well. ( my opinion) although it may be audible and most people won’t notice but if you pay close attention you can hear it.

No EVMUX is not the end of StreamYard! I use StreamYard and gave EVMUX a try, but quite frankly I found it to be too hard to master. I could never find comprehensive information on how all the features related to each other. They also use a lot of terminology that is different than others in the industry. So, for me I am sticking with the right balance of power/features and simplicity - StreamYard.

Evmux has the simple stuff you find in StreamYard and the more complex stuff with the Pro scene builder. It may be overwhelming as you said for the first time but you can always go with the dynamic scenes that would work like streamYard. Simple and easy. Not going to lie though, I could see myself outputting the finished template to a different software for the sake of scaling out the watermark. Love your videos! Very informative! I was first using Belive who proved to be useless. Changed to Streamyard and seemed ok at first but they have a big problem with sync. It is getting worse and worse. They ruined a very important recording for me. An interview for my channel I can not redo. Many of my friends have the same sync problem with SY. When contacting their support you get nothing in return of understanding and sound advice. They blame us the users all the time. Check this, check that, your connection is bad etc BS! Which is totally wrong. I know how to set it up. And have superfast cable internet etc. Still it is my fault their servers f...k it up..., so I decided to try out EVMUX! Never again! This product is very far from finished! Yes, you can get your picture up in the window quick enough. When I tried to make a test recording, the sound went quiet. Double checked the mic. Working. Pressed recording. Silent... so contacted "support". Where as usual some highschool kids sit and basically know nothing. Was met with a real sh.....y attittude and they told me not "to be so angry"! I was not angry before, just asked if they knew why it didnt work!? Of course I got angry after that response and told them that I was checking out a new platform to replace Streamyard. Especially since I saw your excellent video here. But I have quite a few followers and I sort of lead where we go to use various services. For sure I hereby strongly advice against using EVMUX! Many things are missing in it´s present setup and not as user friendly as it first may seem. Add to that an absolutely stunningly abusive "support" and the choice is easy - never go there! I have been in the computer field since Commodore started. It is really odd that still these kids developers havent learned how to address and service for the customers needs and desires! EVMUX is free or cheap. Ok - but I dont care about that. I gladly pay for a functioning product with 1st class support and updates!

Hey SHA thanks for your comment. I am sorry you have been having issues with Evmux and StreamYard. In my opinion these Web based streaming software have a lot of limitations and they are not for everyone. With that being said they also have some pros especially for non techy savvy people who want to easily go live and bring in guests etc… I am also surprised you had bad experience with Evmux customer support. They have a Facebook user group where you can ask any question even the actual CEO of Evmux is in that group and answer quite a lot of questions. Is Evmux perfect? Nope !! they just Launched this year and they still have a lot to improve. But after testing it myself ( all my live streams are still live ) Ii can testify that I had successful streams with minor issues that I adressed to the Evmux team. I decided to start making content about it because I see it’s potential and how many people it will help. In your situation if you keep having issues feel free to try something like ecamm live or OBS those are locally installed and may work better in terms of giving you higher quality recordings. @@LiveProductionTips I feel OBS Studio's working panel and controls are not user friendly like Zoom, Restream, StreamYard etc.
