There is a special cutscene that was supposed to appear when all nukes in the game got disarmed but iirc it was either datamined or released separately from the game some time later.

@@sirexilon49 100% But just to add some extra info for everyone else curious: It was 1st data mined and leaked, then much later after communities of people that were trying to get it officially managed to get them down to 20 on PS3 but those last 20 were bugged and impossible to officially complete. They tried for awhile to get Konami to do something about it, but as konami does it wouldn't make them money so why would they spend time on it. So a certain player in one of the groups made a script to clear the last of them, it was reported to the media that it was done officially without hacks but much later in a Did you know about gaming it was revealed what really happened. Highly recommend that video its a hell of a story and I left out a lot.

"Frottweiler" is a foul name. I love it. Anyway, I'm kinda surprised that the FOB system is still kicking nearly a decade later. Usually these sorts of modes die out sooner than this. Maybe the fact that the mode is asynchronous helps in that regard, working similar to Clash Of Clans-style invasions than duals. You could say the same about MGSV as a whole. Game was half-finished, sabotaged with a weaker story than its predecessors. And yet, I still see memes about the game, fanart about it, even that one phase when everyone was setting scenes of it to Invisible by Duran Duran. And of course I still see analyses about the gameplay and story. It goes to show how even 9 years later, people still care about MGS

One side trying to enact complete nuclear proliferation, the other effectively having become Philanthropy, trying to perform global disarmament of all nuclear weapons. Narratively, in relation to the context of all of Metal Gear’s plot and metaplot, it’s a perfect microcosm, at least, I think microcosm is the right word. Regardless, it’s genuinely beautiful.

I was there, 9 years ago... it was fantastic when the updates for the game started to come, at the beginning the weapons were not as powerful, they were the same as base singleplayer, as the updates came the weapons race became ridiculous, at its peak it was fantastic when you were discovered, the fight against the other FOB commander were really tense, nowadays you can alert the FOB and there's a chance the player will never appear...and all that is without speaking about the Disarmament race

A while ago, when i was first understanding that i was trans and after watching the "How My Transition Saved My Life" video on release, i started developing a weird kind of...impostor syndrome, and was ovetaken by an overwhelming anxiety realated to this chanel. It would come to the point of where even seeing it's thumbnails on my fyp would make me anxious and nervous. Now, a long time later, i've come to understand and accept myself, my impostor syndrome has gotten much smaller and so did my anxiety. I've played a decent amount of Metal Gear Solid V. Oddly enough, the thing that drew me to it the most was MGO3 and some of the fun KZbin content I saw. I really liked the multiplayer mechanics (as frustrating as they can feel at times) and the skill of trying to do nonlethal tactics against people using lethal ones or the more objective based modes. I played the singleplayer campaign and fairly quickly burned out on the repetition. I haven't heard of anyone talking about the FOB missions but seeing your video on it makes me wanna play through the campaign and try it out.

MGS6 needs to fill in the space between the end of this game and the start of Metal Gear's storyline, where a young Solid Snake is sent out by Big Boss to kill this one Venom Snake. Either Konami needs to make it happen without Kojima, or Kojima needs to buy the rights from Konami.
