The greatest movie of all time , everything was perfect ! Ralph Fiennes and the rest of the cast were brilliant , the soundtrack so wonderful , Minghella made a Masterpiece and deserved his oscar !

The start of this score gave me chills... as it progressed, my emotions grew stronger and tears welled up. Now I can't stop crying. This film, and indeed this music, has the most profound effect on me. No other film can make me cry by cinematography and music alone.

Ben, if you are still out there, I can totally relate to your experience. When I first saw the film I was so overcome with emotion, that I fell into a state of uncontrollable sobbing. I even had difficulty walking out of the theater. When Almásy returns to the cave to find Katherine has passed and then emerges from the cave carrying her lifeless body, sends me into a torrent of tears. Indeed, the music strikes the deepest inner chord of sadness and despair within me.

I think the reason this movie hits so deep is in how realistic the affair felt . Anyone who ever was in love with someone unavailable or forbidden as well as anyone who was in a fleeting romance can relate to the emotions felt during this film . The passionate highs followed by the predictable inevitable crash at the end .

I think we all want to meet and to love someone with such intensity. That's what always made me watch this film over and over again. The certainty that I too would be loving like this, «for the heart in an organ of fire»... Now, 16 years passed I still review myself in this film and in these feelings. But today I live such an intense love and I love with an equal passion. Hopefully we will continue together the rest of our lives in our «palace of winds»...

@homspitter69139 жыл бұрын
Veronica Ruiz En efecto, teneis razon.
