I thought that the movie "Lucky" was Harry Dean Stanton's life's soliloquy, but this documentary truly revealed much more. Very good, there is something very elemental that is hard to adsorb without pulling your own heartstrings.
@WildFungusАй бұрын
Harry Dean Stanton always brought himself into the role because as he rightly says that's all anyone has. He would probably have said something like 'Well David Lynch wrote it it's his movie it's David's soliloquy' good movie too.

The Enigmatic Humanity of Harry Dean Stanton At His Most Intimate | Partly Fiction | Amplified 1237pm 21.7.23 wow... as much as these deep southern folk are allegedly supposed to be effed up with religion and poverty and all manner of psychological garbage - they seem to have their heads screwed on correctly... regards the various con tricks enacted. mainly enacted by women who see easy pickings as the solitary skank sits on his lonesome pondering nothing, not even his fate.. wise blood... christine... alien... repo man... and any other film you never recall he starred in due to the fact: the story's the thing. same with his nibs claud rains.

One would never believe that behind such a character actor would lie this kind of unicity and humanity. Stanton portrayed character actors. Maybe it's be better to say that he brought character to each character he played. he portrayed the all those people that are side characters in our story but who live a main character life on their own. Stanton was able to give life to those side characters. Each person has its story. and its philophy to live

The Enigmatic Humanity of Harry Dean Stanton At His Most Intimate | Partly Fiction | Amplified 1304pm 21.7.23 and... the constant ad campaigns buggered this presentation up. i would not be able to stomach american televisual presentations with that level of intrusion. the virtues of the BBC, y'see... some dude has stopped singing and now everyone seems to wanna warble.

@@KClouisville The Enigmatic Humanity of Harry Dean Stanton At His Most Intimate | Partly Fiction | Amplified 1652pm 2.10.2 well, i aint seen it on tv. i saw this documentary on you tube. it's ok. at least we didnt have a load of guff from people who had seemingly pro such and such a celebrity hyperbole spewing forth in all directions to contend with. a guarded man. and he made it clear what it was he didnt or did want to discuss. what can we infer from his relationships with his parents? not much. we didn't garner much from anything about anything....... he chatted a bit about little and sang. seems like a night by the camp fire or on the porch sipping whisky.

17,000 mph around the sun here we go. And just how fast is the sun spinning around the center of the universe? My assumption is that Harry Dean Stanton advised NASA and any other wanna be astronauts to just drop the mic and listen. Copy that!

The Enigmatic Humanity of Harry Dean Stanton At His Most Intimate | Partly Fiction | Amplified 1404pm 21.7.23 too much singing which probably does detract from his having to confess all his b.s for this documentary. contrary to the last, perhaps...? though, that said, he is not under any obligation to spill his soul or his guts to the man to ease some tiresome burden...
