Simba and Nala are siblings. They were to be married. The first movie said it was "tradition" for Simba and Nala to marry. What is the tradition? I'm assuming marrying siblings. Male lions mate with all the lioness in the pride. Usually, the juvenile male lions are chased off by the adult males in this case Mufusa dad may have died young. This would explain why both Mufusa and Scar both lived on pride rock. Sibling male lions usually rule together.
