I like the theory that Kopa survived the attack of Zira and found his way back home after the Lion King 2 when Kiara and Kovu have kids and he met Kion at the tree of life after he married Rani. Kion brought him home and there they found out that they are brothers.

Acctuly, while yes, Zira stole Kovu from his parents. She did NOT steal Vitani. Scar asked Zira to go mate with a lion that has better gens then him. And she did that and Vatani is what came out of it. So Zira IS, Vatanis biological mother. But Scar is NOT her father. So that makes Nuka and Vitani half-siblings.

What actually happened to Kopa is that Zira tried to kill Kopa for Simba killing Scar but Kopa didn't actually die, Nuka found him and woke him up, and Kopa realized if he stayed in the Pride Lands, Zira could kill him. So, he ran off to the Jungle and became King of there, but then later on when h's an adult, he returned to the Pride Lands, Kiara realized he was the true King and let him take the throne. Then his mate became Vitani, and they had a cub named Dwala, who then became Future Queen of the Pride Lands.
