I wrote about losing my mom and how it transformed me from a careless person with poor grades to the person I am now. however, I wrote it in an indirect way. I wrote it in the form of a story but only included the main points which eventually led to the last point. I wasn't prepared for writing a personal essay since we were never taught about writing them. we don't even need a short paragraph to get into college in my country which is why I'm so clueless.. I'm so scared and i just want someone to tell me if my idea and writing style are okay

I wrote about losing my grandpa to cancer and it overlapped my journey to getting my drivers license. I also included main points that led to my last point so I can see the similarities between our statements. and I finished the essay in a course of a week lmao. But I’ll be happy to read urs!

Very Alluring, but can u tell if we need to take TOFEL even when completed schooling from english affiliated school but took gap years.

if you completed your schooling fully in English you shouldn't need to, but if it was only partially in English I would contact someone at the university where you're applying.

if it's for a US essay I would say yes, if it's for a UK personal statement probably not. If that's the first thing that you came up with, go for it. As you write your essay and get feedback on it you'll see whether the idea works or not. Additionally, what you write about will also depend on the question!

im gonna cry now im stupid at telling a story how will i write something like that im still 15 and my goal is to study business but my problem right now is how can i improve my self so i can know myself and write an unique essay and how can i make it a story i feel like i still didn"t discover anything in my life how would i write essay in the future should i train myself now.?

don't worry, you still have plenty of time! I know the essay can seem difficult or can be a frustrating process if you don't like writing. Give yourself time to think about the prompt and to write your essay when your application cycle comes. If writing isn't your strong suit, don't worry. You can definitely shine in other areas of your application! Of course you can practice now, but don't feel like you have to just for the sake of college applications.
