You should do a video showing your checklist of things before going out for a shoot. What gear you need to pack and what goes where for efficiency on set as well as being able to keep track of all your equipment! I love your eye for detail and would love to know your process!

Great little kit! As someone who normally doesn't handle Lavs on a shoot (mainly DOP or Grip) I'd love a tutorial on placing a Lav using an person for the example. It could be multiple videos with difference scenarios for each one.

I love the insider info! Things you'd normally only pick up with years of experience :) Can you go over how to eliminate rustling noise in post? or how to work with the cam op as a boom op to get in as close as possible without being in frame every time? thanks!

You should do a video on 3 to 5 most common field recorders/mixers that professionals use and what type of shoots they are best on. You could also do the top 3 to 5 most common pro-sumer field recorders and what they are best for.

I don't have any lavs yet, but I will soon. These are tips I will surely use. I am curious to know your take on how to best record live music sessions with a minimal amount of gear (basic stuff, two to four instruments and a singer, maybe with a pianist). I ask because those of us starting out may not have the time to mic up everything individually; and not fully understand the capabilities of polar patterns and environmental reflections.

I think it'd be awesome if you did a video about synchronizing sound when you just have a video file and an audio file both separate so what you use to coax the two together when they are close and what you do to get them close

Dealing with rain, mist, splashes in outdoors environment for lavs or other mics (I often work up in ENG-type situations where not shooting isn't an option). Micing up someone on motorcycle or watercraft with heavy wind.

Hi! Maybe something on rain? Like how do you capture that without hearing an umbrella for example? Are there special mics for these things, or techniques that you can share? I'm thinking of weddings, documentary and other "real" scenarios where when it rains, it just rains. What do i do? Are there ways to capture this? How can we prepare for it? Whats the best way and whats the quick diy-last-resort-way? love these videos btw, they really help!

Hey Deity! We're about halfway through filming our first feature, and there's a couple of sound questions I'd love for you guys to answer (maybe as your next video?) Our next feature is set in the city. We might not be able to get road closures or anything like that, so I was wondering how you would run sound in such a way that you don't need to worry about audio continuity or can limit audio continuity issues with all of the surrounding city noise like traffic, beeps, dogs, kids, etc. etc. Maybe I'm overthinking/over-worrying about it, but with so many noises will room tone and cleaning the takes of actor audio same as usual be enough? For our current feature, most of our exteriors were in a small town. We thought it would be quiet, but it seemed like half the town woke up and started mowing their lawns by 10AM and throughout the day every single day of the week. It was unexpected, and really threw a wrench into getting audio for some shots. What would you do to limit that issue or work around it? Sometimes you need/want that high noon harsh light for your scene, so filming everything before 10AM isn't always an option (and they would mow until sundown.) So to sum up, what techniques, forethought, etc. can you exercise to deal with random outdoor noise in various scenarios to save time both recording and in post, not run into sound/noise continuity issues, and not have unexpected noises derail your film schedule? What issues are meant to be handle when you capture audio, and what can safely be passed on to those handling it in post-production? Thanks so much for all of the videos -- they've been a huge help in our process!

You touched on it a bit but it would be really useful to see how you actually use the items in your kit to hide lavs in different situations, or what to use to combat particular problems (clothing rustle, breath noise, wind, whatever).
