Children's books = nostalgia which = $$$ That's why vintage toys are such good sellers in my opinion. We literally just bought the entire contents of a house which was a time capsule from the 80s. Wish you were closer so you could help dig for treasure :)

I was early at an estate sale that listed postcards and was number 8 on the list. I ended up in a push and shove situation with other dealers, beating them all because I asked the owner earlier where the cards were. It was profitable but not worth the headache. The next day I noticed a sale with dozens of boxes marked postcards in a room. I went at the last minute cause I didn't want to deal with the nonsense. I ended up buying all 20,000 cards for $50. The estate dealer thanked my for my generous offer. They didn't put postcards in the listing thinking they weren't worth anything. Sometimes being last pays off.

one of our income sources is running estate sales we do not allow list I just tell everybody to come and act like an adult we have had people wait in line for 6 AM and we do not open until 10 AM and go until four and when I’m sourcing in other states for of course eBay and Amazon anything else we do I only go on Sunday if I miss something oh well but you always have fun
