I haven't watched the video yet but as a hornets fan our coach had planned to have him be a factor for our team this season but during pre-season and the first few games of the season Micic played horrible and played himself out of the rotation. Even watching the magic vs hornets game where he played, the magic's commentators were talking about how Micic was not the same player they saw last year (He had two great games against them last year), mentioning that he looked out of shape. He did get a chance the other night when Tre Mann was out and Micic hit three 3s.

I saw him play and he thinks he’s the main attraction he can’t play a role and just chucked up shots
@andylee534212 сағат бұрын
It sucks he hasn’t performed well and it’s also a bit of wishful thinking/many things need to go well for hornets to be a playin or playoff team. He does have a team option next season where I’m sure Charlotte will decline that as of now so he’s technically not under contract next season.

Who claims that Vezenkov forced Toronto to buy him out? Toronto media reported they mutually tore up his contract and the Raptors didn't give him a dollar, which is not normal, but apparently he wanted to go back to Europe so bad he forfeited his NBA salary.

Have there been any international players that came over late in their career/at the top of their game and succeeded in the NBA? The league is getting more and more international, but this roadmap for international players seems to consistently fail

the europleague player common mistake , you dont go in the nba in your 30ies to be a bench player ,WHEN YOU WERE PLAYING 25 MINUTES ,and have a ROLE and plays for made for you YOU LL LOSE your rythym and confidence playing in the nba begging for minutes and being parked in the corner , EVERY euroleague player that went to the nba and came back , came MUCH WORSE... and the next year all his stats were worse in the EL also , you either come at 23-24 or you are waisting some of your prime years , micic we are waiting for you back in EL.

I don't know. I get that he had a larger role in Charlotte, but 43% shooting from the field is the lower end of acceptable. Kind of amazed that you used that as a point in his favor. I have no doubt that he's a legit NBA player, but even in his larger role, he was just only playing like it.

He should sue sixers for holding him for nothing. They knew he was a good player and could be a problem if he were team up with Jokic.

Micic partied all summer and is paying the price I bet. Being a role player on the Hornets is a bigger accomplishment than being a MVP in Europe. Basically the G-League with fans.
@Shingo_Aoi7 сағат бұрын
"the G-League with fans." definitely not. look at the fiba intercontinental cup to see how bad g-league teams are. they lose even against non-Euroleague teams
@ef9b16a16 сағат бұрын
typical american comment of ignorance , the best team in gleague will lose from the average team in EL by 30 points , we proved that this year if you didnt see the game , the g league all stars lost by a NON EL team of the second tier europe competition , top 4 EL teams would have at least 20-30 wins in the nba ,... kzbin.info/www/bejne/kGSnpqiwjs6irMk

nba's just a petty circus and can't stand outsiders getting more spotlights than domestic players
@ethanp1erce3 сағат бұрын
International players have been cleaning up the mvp race for years now, Luka, Jokic, Giannis, Embiid ( for better or worse) are all some of the most talked about players in the league. Your take doesn’t hold merit, it sounds petty and circus like in itself.
